what iz good governance?is it present in Pakistan?

it is very broad term as i had learn
well it is very from nation to nation and field to field. if you talk about the politically good governenace, then i might also had broad consesius.
I said yes beacuse, our coutnry had so much challanges from starting agian there are many issues. like geo-political, economical isssues and many more
whatever issues are but i think our goverments (democracies) are doing better whatever they can do.

this is the custom definition of good governance. and in a simple way, it exists when every institution in the country, have complete check on its affairs... like judiciary, press, parliament etc. as far as Pakistan is concerned.... these days we are observing that to some extant it is prevailing in the country... and hoping that it will increase day by day... Governance means decision making process and By the implementation of such decision government conduct public affairs and guarentee the realization of human rights t the citizens.
but good governance mean that govt accomplish such duty free from abuse and corruption etc and with the assurence of rule of law to all the citizens equally.
Now in the light of above deffinition it seems to me that there iz govrnance in Pakistan but absence of good govrnance.what u people think now.

Good Governance and in pakistan ?

good governance is absent in almost 70% countries of the world .
pakistan is ranking is in top-20.
good governance,according to me,is goverment where supreme aurthority is vested to ALLAH ALMIGHTY.
good governance,indeed perfect goverment, is that which is associated with the system of khilafat.

Good governance in its broader sense mean these three attributes

Transparency
Accountability
Participation


Unfortunately in Pakistan we don't have any of these in its fullest capacity.

Everybody knows how much transparent our system is. From the recruitment of a peon to tenders of worth billions there is no sign of transparency

Accountability is seen as something from Mars in Pakistan. Although judiciary has stepped in but this primarily is not the duty of judiciary.

Sense of Participation is not there. People in Pakistan are least concerned with affairs of the state(A majority of them). Again here there is some awakening but overall still there is a long way to go. The workers of any department first must have the feeling of ownership toward that department. Only if they feel that their interest lies in the welfare of that particular department, then they ll work for the prosperity of that particular deptt or Org. This attitude is lacking in our country

Good Governance is decion making for the completion of task efficiently securing customer (Public) satisfaction ensuring their best interest. t may be viewd as efficincy in management, decision making, leadership that comes with empowerment and there is no concept of empowerment in Pakistan. No one is fully authorise to complete a task. He has a lot of line authorities to consult with.

So Good Governance in Pakistan is not possible untill and unless institutions are empowered nd when political involvement is discouraged.
