Pakhtuns of Balochistan have not demanded separate province on organized platform. There is also no active movement for South Pakhtunkhwa Province. Nevertheless, they demand more rights, autonomy, jobs, funds etc and they insist for equal status on all resources, Provincial Assembly seats. Only nationalist party of Pakhtuns in Balochistan i.e. Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party led by Mehmud Khan Achakzai demands equal status not separate province.
Piece of information which is quoted in Wikipedia is totally misleading and fake. Following is the text which the authore has posted in wikipedia. Quetta (Pashto: کوټه ) is a district in the north-west of Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is part of the greater Pashtoonkhwa and therefore, now called as South Pashtoonkhwa. It was part of Quetta Division until the year 2000 when divisions were abolished. The district is famous for its agriculture produce, most notably fruit orchards but also including apples and grapes. The Hanna Valley is an area where almonds are grown. The population in 2008 was estimated to be 1.14 million[1] Above text is quoted from the following link. [1] http://www.dawn.com/weekly/herald/herald87.htm Underlined text in paragraph is personal view of the author and doesn’t represent the view point of majority of Pakhtuns. I have edited that disputed text from the paragraph. Everyone can edit it, so Wikipedia is not authentic sources. @Crown Prince
Thank you Crown Prince for editing controversial article on Wikipedia. I was Really surprised to see that there was no check and balance on Wikipedia. Now, question arises that how can we get authentic information from Wikipedia? |

You should check the references as well. Like in that case they had given reference of Dawn, when I checked its was wrong. The author just referred us to Dawn to make his/her article authentic according to the requirements of Wikipedia.
