Well, he is right if we keep the old District Managemnet System in mind and you are an AC in that system. The current system just make you an ordinary officer who spends all his expenditures from his own pocket and being a young bechalor it is ok. Car, petrol, accomodation etc. depends upon the posting station and the nature of your job.
And yes, an honest person can survive in all circumstances and in the long run he is the winner and most satisfied person.

i think old system has been revised in 3 provinces and only sindh is left.
first posting of dmg will be DDO or sanction officer. do these officers enjoys above mentioned perks?

First posting in the field is DDO and in the Secraterate is as Section Officer. DDO gets all the perks while the SO gets nothing. (except pay)

means no allowances at all whether sindh's domicile officer is posted in punjab as SO?

DMG group SO is usually posted in Federal Secraterate, islamabad when he/she does not like field posting, not in the provinces.

means go to the field job or not it's upto the officer?
n secondly if a person posted as SO initially will he always remain in the secretariat or can be posted for feld job in the future?
