Dear Aspirants.
I wana ask you all,what need of such arsenals,which neither could protect our civilians nor our geographical and ideological boundaries?Recent,together with perpetual past events have disclosed our inaction against overwhelming odds.Time and again we are being targeted,be in form of drone attacks or by so-called territorial violations and extra judicial killings of our soldiers and other civilians.
Nuclear Doctrine seems fixed and aimed at Indian side,only.Does our nuclear capability mean to protect our interests from Indian transgression and aggression.............?

one thing which i would like to pin point is that sovereignty is basically an attribute of an independent nation and in case of absence of an economic independence ,a state can not apply its own sovereign powers. so those nations which are ecomically dependent on other nation can't be placed at par in terms of the use of sovereign powers when it is compared with economically independent nations. this is quite true in case of pakistan. the occurence of Drone attacks with high frequency in pakistan,the recent attacks of the NATO gun ships r being most burnig incidences of the violation of national sovereignty. But v know that sovereignty has two aspects, one is external and other is internal. external aspects shows the freedom from the influence of external forces while internal sovereignty means the supreme authority of the state within its territirial jurisdiction. we know we r habitual of foreign aid for all sectors and in today's world, aid are given on certain terms and conditions e.g, KERRY LOGAR BILL which is an obvious violation of pakistan's sovereign character. in exactly same manner, our foreign policy parameters are also controlled by powerful nations. .........................................nuclear deterence under such circumstances seems meaningless but one thing which is quite obvious is that no body can treat us like iraq ,by preemptive doctrines etc. india cannot think about our annihilation because she knows there would b a tit for tat and both will become history. so basically our nuclear deterrence is guided against India and in that regard it has brought a balance of power thus v can say that because of nuclear arsenal out national sovereign character is safe form the influence of india.last but not the least is the case of drone attacks, creating frequent violation of our sovereignty. but it is pertinent to mention that drone attacks are subject matters of international law in the form of positive military servitude wherein a state places certain exceptions on the territorial sovereignty of the state under servitude and acquires for itself certain rights to do on the territory of that state, under a treaty. USA has aquired positive military servitude on the land of pakistan to conduct drone strikes under a treaty but if this treaty is concluded by Musharraf then it is again the responsibility of the present parliament and govt to undo this treaty because it always claims the sovereignty of the parliament and government. although this kind of servitude is the violation of sovereignty yet under international law it is valid inspite of being controversial bacause it serves the interests of powerful nations. and power always determines ligitimacy for its functions. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,furthermore our nuclear deterrence has not worked well in this regard but v know v r the victim of socio-economic, geo-political and cultural imperialism. OUR weak political ,social and economic institutions governed by poor leadership are failing badly to resist the aggression of imperial states .that's why v can't protect our national sovereignty from their imperial designs inspite of having nuclear arsenal . These are , in reality the limitations of our national powers.At the end it can b said that nuclear arsenal will create effective deterence only when v achieve enough economic. social and political independence to establish symbiotic relationship with imperial powers but this needs complete revamp of the system,,,,,,,,,,, competent leadership can change the destiny of nuclear pakistan.
