Road map to halt the chaotic bloodshed in Karachi

To me, army backed operation is the only and for most way out from this messy disarray.

I m supporting the army offense in Karachi because;

1. Police is subservient to Political parties and mostly is corrupt

2. Police mostly is localized and their family would be in danger in case of any police backed operation; as happened in 1992.

3. Same is the case of Rangers.

4. The federal government is gaining allot from this political mess in Karachi; i this scenario they would not get serious about operation.

5. Above all army has no political affiliation and can do the clean up across the board.

Army backed operation is need of Karachi but, local parties of the city will fight back, this may lead into a biggest chaos of our history, our politicians will back off in the middle of the road, and country will suffer, we may lost of some more of our territory.

What I believe is, a severe warning from army to local parties will work, Neither Karachi is a piece of cake nor a uncontrolled territory, so its better to do things right on right time.

While discussing this issue with a senior police officer, he was saying "Agar Government support kary to target killing will be stopped within 3 days", every time we held guys, we got calls from higher-ups to release.

the very first step is to fire not so efficient interior minister, who is good for nothing but issueing non sense statements.....
second, inoregate all those high profile ppl on the political scene of claiming to know the real culprits behind karachi chaos and force them to speak out instead of keep on saying that, HM NAAM NAHE LENA CHAHTE

Lately, 1500 new police officers have been appointed they will try to clean this city.

I dont think they will be able to do any thing in this regard. The morale of the Karachi Police is low as many police officers were killed by "them" in Mush era as they had taken part in the operation cleanup earlier. It is only the Pak Army that have the capability to clean this city of criminals cum politicians.
The citizens of karachi need freedom prior to the next election so that they can cast vote as per their choice in a terror-free atmosphere.

not an army operation but an intelligence lead army operation is the need of karachi...and in this way chances of chaos would also be less

here i very very strongly want to criticize our army who is just sitting back and watching the show..they should clean up this mess once and for all..and this is what they are designed for and meant for...not for using its might to rule us..

plus the operation should be more directed towards capturing the key figures including mqm,anp political leadership

Infact, this is not a very big issue but these are our political parties which show their strength just for their own
& these are our political parties which can not make it possible to have an Army operation as these are the ones who make it difficult to take some action by Police. Govt is also forced to do so. Interior minister has a little passion to clean up but if he will do so then all started crying & try to get sympathy by media. & also in this Govt has chances to lose its allies.
In this way, how can someone say that this can be overcome???? Terrorists start target killing at their own will & end at their own will. Amazingly, there is no power in govt who can forcly stop them to do so. Govt has to just issue statements & statements. Nothing else.
