As per some media reports, today Friday the 17th of June, 2011, Shafiullah Khan, trainee reporter Daily The News Peshawar succumbed to his critical wounds received during a deadly suicide blast at Khyber Super Market Peshawar on last Saturday....

Media report further explains that Shafiullah remained under treatment at Intensive Care Unit POF Wah Cantt in unconscious condition. It is also stated that the deceased belonged to a village Plangzai in North Waziristan and had joined Daily The News Peshawar as trainee reporter in 2011. He did his master degree in journalism from Gomal University. His body was shifted to his native village and by now would have reached to his village, which is not far from Miranshah, the capital of North Waziristan Agency...

I can remember five years back, a young fellow who was on summer vacations of his Bachelors had come to Islamabad to be with his elder brother, AzizUllah Khan Wazir... A prosperous and industrous young man aspiring to be a CSP, while his brother Aziz is already serving in Federal Government as Assistant Director..... That young fellow was Shafiullah Khan, a thin and smart Wazir with inculcated qualities of having great hospitality.. We sometime used to sit in their apartment at evening with fruit shakes or cold drinks or tasty dishes cooked by him or his elder brother...

Preparation of css.... endeavouring to learn good skills for english, both to write and speak... language course..... Sector I-10.... Sector H-9....... Brothers marriage.. ... and thn back to Gomal University.. to get a degree in Journalism... Association with News...... Peshawar.... and bang...... Noise of ambulance sirens..... oh he is 70 % burnt... no chance of survival..... in Intensive Care... Now he is on his breathing now... No he is back to ventilatore because his lungs are quite damaged.... He is unconscious... No chance of survival ... Fighting for his life..... Medicines... Plastic sheets to put under his body to get releasing plasma from body........ Hello Hello, Aziz i would be visitng I cant be there today... It was Thursday... Much prayers needed.. Ask ami to pray for Shafi, ask brothers everybody to pray.. dont worry aziza, he will survive inshALLAH.. ... ... He is an apple of eyes of his old mother... We hav'nt told to his mother because she wont be able to get sustain that shock and may not pass away as well... Allah help the boy.. It will not be death of only one guy.... His father is also a heart patient use to come for treatment at Islamabad..... His both aging parents ........ Cant go there today, but inshALLAH will be there tommorrow after Juma.... Office, files, presentation preparation, discussions, putting up cases, managing things, more files.. yuck a presentation tomrow, son lets try to complete it today even have to sit late... ok sir dont worry.. this young officer is quite good in trying to make good things, let him do.. back to office.. its 12 office off time sir.. No not going home.... give me a glass of water .. any calls! so and so and so called ... let me see messages and calls at my silent mobiles... Oh.... Perhaps Shafiullah.... Check from news, yes the person who passed by is Shafiullllaaaah..................... I had to see him today, how.. .. ALLAH, his parents..... his family............ the poor guy... his aspirations..... damn.... yuck... you are the system.. .. you are the part of our security and defence apparatus..... why you are letting those people die easily like cats and dogs.. why.... what are you .. just a tiny peace of soil... you are nobody.. you are damn nobody... .... perhaps you can show that you are trying but you cannot stop............. thn who will stop.... ALLAH knows....... work must be done... finished .. may be it can save some poor soul .... ...... sun starts descening towards West... Going home... Shattered and disturbed... Wont tell anybody the storm inside heart... the storm will never subside.. because its not creation of only today or a week back.. its there from times... there cannot be any peace for a restless soul... the soul should continue developing a diplomatic posture to deceive the people.. to decieve others... to not show the expression . .. to not let any body know the intensity of storm... but that storm should never subside... oneday you can be able to do a lot... each drop makes possible rainfall.. the rainfall which gives life to dead earth.. Yes these are the words of Quran... the words which you heard at morning that ... He sends clouds.. clouds which make rain.. rain to give life to dead soil... life sprouts from dead land.. similarly HE will give life to dead on the day of Judgement.... the day of Judgement...... Aaah... Thine justice My LOrd.. But we all are sinners... we all have played due part in destabilising our country.. A muslim country.. the country for which 20-30 lac people give their life.. gave their blood to give life to this land... the pure land or land of prue.. Pakistan..... no its Islamic Republic of Pakistan... no no its Just Pakistan, Islam for name, its secular country.. dont tell me, Quaid got it for Islam.. No no not for Islam but for equality and justice system, for having egilitarian system where everybody would be allowed to live, live as per their religion and practice their rituals independantly without fear, Quaid wanted a place where everybody could live happily without disturbing others, without leg pulling, no nepotism, no favourtism, a land having rule of law.... But dear this is the islam. Oh is this islam? Am sorry i dont know such islam... how come you dont know? my mufti or allama saab didnt tell me, he told me to offer five prayers, to keep fasts for Ramzan, to have hajj, to pay zakat, to keep beard, to have trouser up from ankles, to recite Quran and list goes on, but my Allama saab didnt tell me this... Oh pitty, oh my God, he didnt tell you ? Dont you know that this is written in Quran and Hadith? No i dont know , i read Quran in Arabic only.... Oh my God, only in Arabic, no translation ??..... But dont worry I know hadith, which is shown in t.v. or written in newspapers or in some books ... Oh good, do u practice hadith?.. No no, i have important things to remeber, i dont remember even after a minute of reading Hadith, thn what to say of praciticing it.... Oh my God... ...... Why are you continously saying oh my God, dont waste my time, i have to offer Maghrib... Oh my God. ... you keep offering your prayers... let them die, they are born to die and thats good thing it will control increasing population of the country ........... Oh my God, I was aspiring and thinking that i should had been at place of Shafiullah and you are saying that let them die.... Oh my God.... and the water remains flowing.. .. come on buddy, you are an officer of elite service, enjoy life, and remember thats a good thing, this water will keep your eyes washed..................... the story is not to end, it will continue till breathing is going and till time blood moves in body, till time the heart pumps blood, and the mind works, it will go on... but the story of Shaifullah Khan had ended.. and perhaps, God forbade, that of his parents may end in some coming days ... .................................................. .........

It is indeed very very sad to hear that. It is very tough to see such near and dear friends passing away in such a way. Allah unke m'aa baap, bhai or un ke sare rishtedar or doston ko sabar e jameel ata farmaye.
