MQM actually do not want this. It is PML N, who gave the statement that there should be a new province Suraikistan. And our wise Chief minister also suggested that there should be a new Province Karachi in Sindh....

Instead of thinking about and pondering over the demand of Sraikistan
and giving arguments in favor or in against
, he has tried to annoy opponents by
starting a new discussion .

how you can said...this is a lingering issue and division plan pioneered by BB.

i think new provinces should be made on administrative basis,not on the basis of ethnical nationalism,which would ultimately proliferate further issues.

The situations in Sindh and Punjab vary alot.
the MQM in sindh does not claim to separate themselves from sindh anymore and also karachi is not the neglected region of Sindh, in fact, it is highly developed.on the other hand, no sindhi is in favour of this division.therefore, the case loses strength.

as regards the situation in Punjab, the saraikis claim that south punjab (Sraikistan) is the neglected region and highly underdeveloped. they hv also garnered immense support from various quarters and even sum people in intelligentsia hv also raised their voice in intellectual circles!

i dun think that it is possible.
because these provinces are demanded after making some propaganda of exploitation by the other nationality.so this factor provides some magnitude and momentum to the demand.otherwise, u r rite that the divisions shud b made on administrative lines and for the sake of smooth and easy administration.but again i dun think that our people and our politicians are so enlightened yet.even some politicians exploit these ethnic divisions to thrive their status in politics.
unfortunately we hv politicians but not statesmen who can comprehend what lies beyond normal imaginations.

We are beset with eternal problems like corruption,feudalism,army/american intervention etc in our country. No division or any other plan will succeed until these eternal problems are resolved.

Dear Ones, it is bad fate of our countary when this god blessed country came into being in liberty. From 1947 till date no one sincere leadership for pakistan came forward to do something for this beloved country. How can you aspected from polititions that thay do favorable for pakistan. PPP when wver came into power they act upon the rules of English i.e. Devide and Rule. for this act they do like this in 1971. Now the same situation is seem and all dull and null polititions do the same. Please for God sake do the needful for our beloved country.

Undoubtedly southern Punjab is backward and neglected part of Province. But question rises who is responsible for it? According to my point of view our MNA's and MPA's belong to southern punjab are responsible. They are jagirdaar and narrow minded, they do not want to see the saraiki people prosper and educated. Our district Nazim returned back the grant to provincial government by saying this that there is no need of development here. Our saraiki leadership says provincial government gives less grant to southern punjab as compared to upper Punjab. Can somebody asks from them How much you spent that grant for development of this area, only 2 percent or 3 percent. I think our 80 percent saraiki people don't know what is difference between a country and a province. As far as our educated youth is concerned they are not so much motivated for province of saraikistan. Our political figures belonging to saraiki area in favour of separate province for their own interest and nothing else because they want to become chief minister and governer........ etc.

dear i think it is need of the day and very important issue if we see it in the eyes of administrative issues. Punjab province have the 52% share of population of the Country. So it creates very big problems like unemployment, Health, Education, Administration, Justice, and many more as compared to other provinces. So it is very important that Punjab should be divided into two parts.
