Wink Mr Khan gains more popularity!

PTI's rally today in Karachi, was chosen on the best of days which is the birthday of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam. It could be a political tactic to attract the maximum number of public to the rally on the part of PTI. But it did succeed to attract hundreds of thousands of people to rally and many others watching exclusively on television and internet, anyways!
During his speech, his sincere and patriotic intentions for the country were noticeably great as usual. The received impression of him otherwise was more like a hero pulling us out of a deep quagmire of problems if there was nothing wrong the road map he explained.
He started his speech explaining his road map which he said that people ask him more often if he was to fulfill his tall claims after coming in power. He emphasized on some points in his speech. I remember only a few of them which I have mentioned below.
  • He said that he would crack down on corruption within a count of 90 days (ie 3 months). However, a radical change in the education system of Pakistan might take long time to take place, he added.
  • He made searing criticism on Pak-US relations in the fight against Islamist militants. He reiterated that US drone attacks had led to homegrown insurgency in Pakistan.
  • He said that the farmers needed to be assisted in every way for the promotion of our agriculture which in turn could contribute to the country's economy.
  • He said the whole system will be computer-based which could reduce all possibilities of corruption. He said "Computer rishwat nahi le sakta".
  • He promised to build an ideal team to run the affairs. He reiterated he will prove himself like he proved himself in every walk of life even in the face of difficulties.
I might have missed out other points which he made in his speech.

In view of his today's rally, his road map as explained by him was unfortunately unclear on the face of it.
It is not certain how far he will be able to make it in the coming election. However, his growing popularity is going to be a serious concern for the US, given his criticism on the nature of Pak-US relations at present.

Talking about Javed Hashmi, everyone must be happy with his induction in PTI because unlike SMQ he is an honest, responsible, sincere, and a great person- all rolled into one.

Regards

I cannot see any such change so far. and what happened to Omer Cheema really disappoints me it is contrary to what Imran Khan always proclaimed.

Ofcourse of the system. CHANGE is inevitable now because the current system has completely collapsed. SHarif brothers and the rest are still not convinced though. DEclaring policies right now would be premature. It would not serve PTI's agenda to expose their complete policies and the road map to change. Otherwise we would end up having identical manifestos as the other parties would start copying PTI, as they already have.

Why cant we be realistic? i agree with IK, that corruption has the easiest solution. Next education or health etc you need resources and what not. It takes time. Nobody has a magic wand. Just look at the media grilling IK and his party is facing just for saying 'change'.
Wake up guys. The Government and institutions, they have collapsed its infront of your eyes. Change in the mind set of people is already there lol.
I, for one, have no doubts on Imran or his intentions. You need will power, hard work, commitment and the biggest of all, Character.
Anyone here can deny Imran doesnt have that or hasn't shown it in every task?

Javed Hashmi, Imran Khan. These people have character. And in my fathers words ' if ur right, strong character ki sabse se zyada dehshat hoti ha,all characterless people will never b able to see eye to eye with you and they will see their own fall.
Have patience and have hope. PAKISTAN has a bright future.

If IK continues to show the 'WILL' he has shown in past, there is No Question that he can give us many services and make Pakistani people a 'proud' nation again.

With this kind of will, he will do much more than expected. Im sure nobody here wants a typical revolution that consists of bloodbath and massacre and which is easily hijacked and misused by enemies of the state

Emotions apart, Miss let me clarify it to you that Change is inevitable. Just hope for the time being that it comes through this channel. Otherwise, the disastorous bloody revolution would add to the gory chapters of history before highlighting the Change. So better to visualize it right now.
