The President or PM is still not guilty unless proven otherwise; as a nation we are in habit of arriving at conclusions in undue hast. One shouldn't be judgmental on Aitaz's partisanship to his party for verdict will be given by revered SC not him.

Moral values derive from within one’s own self, are inconstant in nature & its definition/application vary from person to person according to circumstances/need of the hour therefore not in my diet plan.

Regards,
The issue right now under discussion is that Aitazaz is going against his self-made statement, it's not about PM's or president's innocence or guilt,

Secondly, it is visible that he is involving all the flexibilities of constitution for his party leadership, so it's not my personal judgement, action speaks louder than words and i have concluded it all from Aitazaz's actions. He has involved all the personalization in the court hearings (I am referring to his statement in the court yesterday to CJ, that will you give verdict against the PM who restore you.......Although we all know that how judiciary was restored.....Is it his professionalism?or favoritism?

Thirdly, moral values are universal,,,,,either somebody follow them or not.Truth, honesty, dignity, Aren't they similar everywhere?

Regards,

It is a very serious offense making a public pledge and reneging from it. If people of eminence who had led through a popular struggle set examples like these what will everyone follow. Professionalism aside if you make a word to even an individual, forget the whole nation, and renege from it without even displaying that you were cautious of your promise; it is offensive. When you are blessing the whole nation with your words you should make any assertion carefully, keeping in mind the consequences of it not just in present but also in future. Aitzaz Ahsan maybe defending Prime Minister is not an issue at all, he is a person of free will and also he never claimed he won't defend such and such person, but he did make loud claims he won't appear before CJ in any case so he should try to stick to his words and find some ways to avoid appearing before CJ in defense of a case, maybe by hiring a lawyer for himself who can argue on his behalf . Atleast people of this caliber should worry about setting right examples for the people who have belief in them. People have every right to ask why do you say things that you are unable to keep up with.

A professional lawyer has to defend his Clind by hook or by crook to save him from facing the music But this bench of Judges is too prudent to be influenced by anyone.

Read: ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s appeal against indictment summons.

An eight-member bench led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry was hearing the case on Friday.

The Supreme Court earlier this month ordered Gilani to appear on February 13 to face indictment for the government’s two-year refusal to ask Swiss authorities to re-open graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.

PM’s counsel, Aitzaz Ahsan was earlier asked to conclude his replies by 10 am today and the court asked Ahsan to seek instructions from the PM in order to assess whether he is willing to write a letter to the Swiss government.

Ahsan responded saying, “It may not be possible for the PM to seek instructions by Monday as he will require more time to do so.”

Throughout the hearing, Ahsan provided the members of court with citation from various cases pertaining to contempt of court charges, however the Chief Justice dismissed his arguments by saying that the precedents he mentioned are of civil nature whereas the current case is of criminal nature.

After Ahsan concluded has arguments, the Chief Justice announced a detailed verdict in which he recalled previous NRO hearings as well as the government’s refusal to correspond with the Swiss authorities. He also reiterated that the NRO was declared unconstitutional in December 2009 and all the corruption cases which were closed in Pakistan and abroad now stand reopen.

If convicted of contempt of court, Gilani faces up to six months in jail and being disqualified from office.

Bro, Unfortunately you need to go through a Law Dictionary for getting underlined word's meaning.

Stay blessed.

The object of quoting this news was to strengthen my point of view that he couldn't succeed despite of fast friendship with CJ.

Contrary to you, I don't give weigh to his prior stance,as stances are made to be broken with the flow time.

Regards,

Regards,
I was referring to my quote that you have mentioned before that particular news, anyhow prior stances can't be ignored in any case, because whatever a person says, it really matters, as far as the flow of time is concern, it demands that every member of lawyers movement should work honestly to preserve constitution, instead of taking ''U-turn''.

Time is highly favorable to save our institutions and political norms, so flow of time is indicating something else.
