well it would have been a tremendous job if giving away things like that was made a law and proper procedure to be followed in future as well by everyone in power, just giving away laptops to a batch of students for a political gambit is not a tremendous job . mustahiq tulaba sirif isi saal to nahin paida hue, yeh to hamesha rahen ge

Who actually are Deserving Students? I dont consider my brother amongst those who MUST get a laptop since he already has one and he can afford to have more. He is a topper throughout but he is not needy, hence not deserving. Criteria is not fair enough.

those who can afford must not accept the lap tops and forgo them for the deserving students. i think this is the best thing we can do. and if every student who is not needy and who already has a lap top takes this step the ultimate beneficiaries would be the deserving students. it needs a little moral courage which unfortunately lacks in us.

This doesnt happen. When one refuses to take it, they dont pay heed to it. And if, out of the blue, they do, those laptops do not go to the poor ones. Reason: All of them are not outstanding students and those who are, they are not in the list.

true to some extent. i was thinking the same and i came up with the solution that those who don't need these lap tops they can donate their lap tops to needy students. there are so many students around us who really don't have this facility so we can help them by giving our lap tops.
but on the other side we must acknowledge this fact that many students who are getting these lap tops don't have lap tops before. i know a lot of girls who have been selected for lap tops are deserving and needy. there are pro and cons of this scheme but we must see the brighter side.

Irrespective of the outcomes of such initiatives we should appreciate them because at the end of the day students are real beneficiaries.
Gifts are always likd whether recipient belongs to the upperclass or lowerclass. However when it comes at the cost of someone's need then blessed people must show their big hearts. Other provincial govts should also learn try to imitate such ventures. |

Bhai dont worry. There is a criteria and only students with high marks are getting laptops purely on merits. I wonder if Sardars of Baluchistan can allow this kind of encouragement to the students of baluchistan as they are highly against the education as it can spread social development and put the sardari system in danger.
