we as a nation are anti-american. but, as a government or establishment, we are extremely pro-american.
for example,our stance on;

1]afghan transit trade.....pro american
2]syrian crisis................pro american
3]now a days, preferring arabs over iran on energy issue......pro american

infact,we are an independent nation with slave leadership
{both political and military}.

EGYPT must have to learn from our experiences of political and democratic dynamics. and;

a)should never trust a general for his services as a ruler
b)continuity of democracy should be followed at any cost
c)should align with iran and other independent nations
d)government of BROTHERHOOD must pose a glorious
example of welfare governance before the critics of religious political doctrines in muslim world.

Yes Egypt can't be Pakistan and Pakistan can't be Egypt because every country has its own strengths and weaknesses , pros and cons. We are living in a totally different scenario as compared to Egypt . As a front-line state in war on terrorism we have to face many internal and external challenges which Egypt is not facing. no doubt, now the foreign policy of Pakistan must be changed and our leaders have taken few wrong steps but it doesn't mean that someone has the right to underestimate the prestige of Pakistan. We have strong faith that together we will bring this country to the heights of glory.

Egypt will never be like Pakistan,

Becoz no one can be like Pakistan.

Although Pakistan could not rose as it was dreamed by founder of nation Qaid e Azam, however the internal and external problems which Pakistan has experienced since its creation and still going through it, is evident that Pakistan will remain forever and situation will change.

We welcome our guests, it doesn't matter whatever intentions they carry along. But we know our strength and stamina . . for how long we can fight and bear the difficulties. . Pakistan isn't a fail state but just in search of a sincere leaders. . And hopes are alive till we find one. Insha Allah.

Egypt is no better than Pakistan. They helped the Jews to slaughter the palestinians, we helped them to slaughter the Afghans. The Egyptians have been the favourite play boys of USA for the past 4 decades so how can they criticise Pakistan Now. Atleast we could stop US supplies for 6 months, could they open supply routes to palestine on humanitarian basis for just one week during the siege of Gaza?

Aside from my emotional attachment with my country some things are very much clear and obvious:

1. we have failed to act like a nation
2. we are more concern with our vested interest.
3. we blame Americans for every thing but also look them for our economical help.
4. we always talk about shariah but neither of us aware of true spirit of shariah and islam.
5. we are far away from Egypt in literacy rate.
but in all this egypt has now stand against US but we did'nt because we need money to support our defence.

Thumbs up Egypt Vs. Pakistan

Egypt is no better than Pakistan, Worse off. Most of its life it had lived under military regime. Its people have done great by getting rid of Mubarik. In past some Egyptians were so much scared of Mubarik that they they didn't even took his name in Public when abroad. The question is what now for Egypt.

1- Get rid of its powerful military generals as soon as possible. Follow Turkey in this regard.
2- Bring popular pressure on Supreme Court for restoration of National Assembly.
3- Follow sequence of steps to strengthen democratic institutions like local councils.

One more step that can help in bringing democracy and strengthening institutions is free Electronic Media. (Ironically have to follow Pakistan in this regard).

Best of Luck to Egyptians for Future.http://www.cssforum.com.pk/images/icons/icon14.gif
