NEW DELHI: Former president Pervez Musharraf on Friday took India's media to task for fabricating and cooking up false stories against Pakistan’s armed forces. Speaking at Indian TV channel Times Now live from London, Musharraf said India was fabricating false stories to put Pakistan’s army and ISI in bad light through its media. When asked by anchor why Pakistan was not acting against Lashkar-e-Taiba, Musharraf
questioned as to why India was not doing anything against extremist party Shiv Sena. “Can Indian government dare to take action against Shiv Sena,” he shot back at the anchor.

Responding to a question about long march,
Musharraf said India had no right to ask about
Pakistan’s internal matters. “Pakistan army did not mutilate the body of any Indian soldier and it never does so,” he replied to a question. He said India was deliberately escalating at the Line of Control. Pakistan army, he said, believes in resolving all disputes, including Kashmir, with
India. “Is this your democracy that India sent back Pakistan’s hockey players and artists,” he
questioned? Musharraf’s counterattack forced the Indian anchor to end the discussion in the middle of the show.
Time has reached to convert our own media in an effective watchdog of Pakistan's interest. India is not as strong as it depicts itself. Their entire economy is based on services while pakistan has the potential capabilities to improve its economy, based on products. What india do is to pose its country as a peaceful country in order to attract the foreign investors. Parallely, she is also conspiring to defame Pakistan at every forum in order to topple its economy.
Pakistan, today, is in need of FDI and enhanced trade with other countries. For this purpose, we shall have to create a soft image of pakistan at international level. In order to achieve this goal, we will have to use the media in an effective manner. Pakistan should greatly empasise its media to achieve a soft image of it otherwise, India will develop and mock us.

unfortunately pakistani media is not performing its duty accordingly. Our media is unable to make a counter propaganda against Indian media. When Indian army attacked on LOC, pakistani media was busy in covering long march. indian attack was not given any importance on media.
But when we look at Indian media, that is always in search of stories against Pakistan. Indian media links all evils in india with ISI.
There is a need of sincere journalists, who can show a soft image of pakistan to foreign countries. This will help in bringing FDI in Pakistan.

Why should we only hold our nerves when every one in india- be it media, politicians or army- is breathing fire against Pakistan.

What i can think according to my limited knowledge, a barking dog doesn't necessarily needs to be beaten up always, rather it should be ignored considering its the nature of him, that is what our media tends to do, whatsoever you do to make them believe that you are not guilty or you want friendly relations with them, they would always take you for granted though they might seem interested in developing good relations with us, still they won't.Doing propaganda against Pakistan appears as if it is their top most priority, It is their habit, whenever the government of india feels some pressure on the internal issues of their state, they try to put all that crap on Pakistan, to divert the attention of the mass, possibly they finds doing so as the easiest way to get escaped from the building pressure, by the full support of indian media. As far as the problem with Pakistani media is concerned, " No Comments ".

Well done Mr Musharraf...bilateral trade relations with india are possible but indian can never ever become our friends...Our artists &players should also be careful while saying this",India humain Pak jaisa laga"..because its a negation of the two nation theory....Great job by Mr Musharraf.
Regards
