Musharraf slams Indian media for fabricating anti-
army ‘propaganda, lies'

NEW DELHI: Former president Pervez Musharraf on Friday took India's media to task for fabricating and cooking up false stories against Pakistan’s armed forces. Speaking at Indian TV channel Times Now live from London, Musharraf said India was fabricating false stories to put Pakistan’s army and ISI in bad light through its media. When asked by anchor why Pakistan was not acting against Lashkar-e-Taiba, Musharraf
questioned as to why India was not doing anything against extremist party Shiv Sena. “Can Indian government dare to take action against Shiv Sena,” he shot back at the anchor.

Responding to a question about long march,
Musharraf said India had no right to ask about
Pakistan’s internal matters. “Pakistan army did not mutilate the body of any Indian soldier and it never does so,” he replied to a question. He said India was deliberately escalating at the Line of Control. Pakistan army, he said, believes in resolving all disputes, including Kashmir, with
India. “Is this your democracy that India sent back Pakistan’s hockey players and artists,” he
questioned? Musharraf’s counterattack forced the Indian anchor to end the discussion in the middle of the show.

That is laudable and appreciable episode by Musharaff.He has such stature and charismatic personality that no one can dare face him as he always comes with logic and rational.The task which should have been furthered by our top Army brass has been taken by its ex chief but it is again a good lesson for the Indian "Pakistan bashing" game and toning down its aggressive behaviour.

As per my perception that any Pakistani former Pesident or Prime Minister can do this, that Musharraf did, because the thing is that he is not in government and one can do this dare atleast against India but not against US or any G-8 group countries which are powerful ones and gives aid to pakistan in many ocassions. Musharraf's this act was solely to get Pakistani people support in coming elections, that why he acts so aggresively against Indains. My question is that when someone like Musharraf becomes the Head of state then why their behaviour against India becomes so mild? why they not speak truth against them and India continoulsy de-stablising Pakistan since our independence and we on the other hand offers friendship to them.

Gen. Musharaf did an absolutely great job. We need to take such bold stances infront of the biased Indian media. The government should have slammed the Indians for their propaganda against Pak army. Whatever the previous actions of Musharaf had been, this act of his is definitely appreciable.

hats off to Mr. Pervaiz Musharraf he was a commando...he is a commando in nature, too

a few months back there was an interview of Pervaiz Musharaf. In that interview Pervaiz Musharaf alleged RAW in destablizing Pakistan and categorically said that Raw is involved in Balochistan crises.
Whatever he said in that Interview he defended ISI and Pak Army and said ''if Raw continue destablizing Pakistan then ISI will not sit silently''.

This Interview was on recent scenerio of LOC, Musharraf, Instead of accusing India for the partition of East Pakistan when he was asked about Kargil ,should have controlled his nerves.

As a General,it looks good that he was defending Pak Army and ISI but to think moderately ,this was not the way to react or show his anger in front of whole world in these unpleasant situations.
