1.Muslim countries might be unable to help iran in case of a war, for, as long as , they are ruled by their "UnGodly" dictators, and their people are quite content with their rulers. 90% of muslim world is running under the cult of "territorial nationalism" , instead of "muslim nationalism" .
2. But a Yankee attack on Iran, is still outside the domain of likelihood. Because everyone knows that , any preemptive attack by the americans will be just a defensive shield for the Zionist interests in the region. Both european union and russia & china are not ready to accept these repeated misadventures , for the protection of Israel.... Americans might give Israel a "go-ahead" for attacking Iran, but Americans will not be involved directly into the act. |

Dear Adil,
Sunnis r more hostile to the US than Shias. There are multiple reasons behind this. One reason is that US has so far targeted Sunni interests (Afghanistan or Sunni dominant Iraq) more severely than Shia interests. But when the US attack Iran, which is a predominantly Shia country, Shias wil join in with Sunnis too, with greater zeal. So the then united Muslim front would become a greater threat to US. One also must not forget the Shia majority of Iraq. In case of US attack on Iran, the Shias of Iraq would also create problems for the US. |

Dear Adil,
Thanks for the complement. I dont as such "hope" that this happen. This is only what might happen and seems to me to have a high probablity, in case US attacks Iran. And this is one factor among others, which would deter the US from attacking Iran. |

Muslims didn't unite when the US attacked Afghanistan or Iraq since these countries were ruled by barbarians. Firstly, Afghanistan it was a mess and Muslim world itself wanted a solution in Afghanistan, the Taliban’s were not in senses to give refugee to Osama and company and the mass murder they were doing in the football stadium and the demolition of Buddhist monasteries were just too much. Islam does not give us permission to do anything bad to other humans due to their believes and also prohibits us to say anything bad about any other religion and in Afghanistan these so called Muslims destroyed a place of worship and killed other humans and that is not acceptable. Secondly, Iraq was ruled by a mad person and the entire Muslim world wanted to get rid of him for quiet some time and his brutality can be seen on the ethnic cleaning he did on poor war torn Kurds in the north and poor Shiia's in the south. He was a murderer and a coward and he had to be replaced.
However, now if US attacks Iran or any other Muslim country (which I know they won't) it will bring US to its knees. I am sure US wouldn’t attack any Muslim country because Americans are not fighting against Islam but they are fighting against "Munafakeens" and people who were ruling Afghanistan and Iraq were "Munafakes" and they deserved even worse. Ased

Thumbs down!
Salaam Asad, I really appreciate you for raising your voice. Thanks a lot for it. Let me contradict your arguments now. (This is the part I mostly play) (Keep this in mind: My attitude is being harsh just to create some kind of competition. It is never meant to look down upon or insult anyone). Here goes the reply to your post: This is really ridiculous. You are branding the Muslims' cowardness as expediency. Oh my dear brother, if the Muslim Ummah really had problems with Saddam and the Talibans, why didn't they themselve take pain to rid the muslims (of Afghanistan and Iraq) of their violent and brutal rulers? Why did they wait for their evergreen enemy (America) to stand up as a liberator? Brother, I guess the Iraqis were rather more satisfied with the Saddam Government than with the present one. They didn't have freedom, but they had peace. To prove my assertion I am copying an editorial from Dawn (28th Aug). Nostalgia for Saddam days NOBODY could have believed that there would be a pro-Saddam march in Iraq within two and a half years of the fall of Baghdad on April 9, 2003. On Friday, marchers at a rally in Baquba, 65 kilometres from Baghdad, raised slogans in favour of former president Saddam Hussein and denounced the constitution now under preparation. Their main cause of concern was that Iraq should not have a federal constitution. Such a system, they feared, would lead to their country’s disintegration. Iraq’s Sunnis are opposed to federalism, so are most of the Shias; only the Kurds are keen on a federal scheme. Fire-brand Shia cleric Moqtada al Sadr has come out against a federal constitution and said it would be rejected by the people when it is put to vote. As agency reports say, over 100,000 Shias have marched across the country to protest against a federal constitution. More than the constitutional controversy, the Baquba march represents the frustration of the Iraqi people over the chaos in their country. The US-led forces occupied Iraq and promised to give them peace and stability. The Baathist regime may not have given them democracy and civil liberties, but most certainly Saddam Hussein’s Iraq was peaceful and untroubled. Under occupation, Iraq has been in a state of turbulence. The insurgency continues unabated because the new Iraqi government as well as the occupation forces have failed to give security to the people. The government does not command the people’s respect and allegiance, and the occupation looks open-ended because the Bush administration has consistently refused to give a pullout schedule. This has only served to strengthen the resistance and thrown into doubt Washington’s long-term intentions about Iraq. Sources in Washington say troop levels in Iraq will depend on the fate of the constitution. The draft will stand scrapped if it is rejected even by three provinces. In that event, one could expect a continuation of the American military presence in Iraq and more bloodshed and anarchy. No wonder, there should be nostalgia for Saddam’s days when Iraq did not have freedom but at least it was peaceful. In the end, I will suggest you to be outspoken. I reckon this post clears your misperceptions you have about our weak and infirm muslims. We are cowards ! (If you don't agree with the line you've just read... try to think... why doesn't the Muslim Coalition go to the rescue of the Iraqis and Afghanis from the brutal cluthes of America?) By the way... America's intention, never was to fight any munafikeen. She had her political and economic motives behind the invasions, which I will state in the next tryst. Regards, Adil Memon PS: People! Do not curse me please. I am just trying to be consistent at my words!

Salaam,
I am pasting some comments by a lady named "Aniqah" from Orkut. Please verify their credibility if anyone is well-informed about them. **one person sold 8 coffins in Islamabad for RS 18000/- **in Karachi one coffin of 100-300 rs are now sold for rs700/- to 1200/- **In Mansehra group of gunned man looted two trucks which were taking goods for relief work, police did come to rescue afterwards to protect the remainig ones but they can't do everything everywhere **In Muzzafarabad the professionals who bathe the bodies(MAYYATS) have taken away all the gold things of bodies **The buses which used to take Rs32-100/- to take ppl from Mirpur to Muzzafarabad are charging rs500/- and the buses which wud take 300/- to take ppl from Islamabad to Muzzafarabad are taking rs 1400/- Also, I have a question. Recently there was a letter in Dawn Newspaper by some foreigner which is pasted below. How would you best reply him? IN the aftermath of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we Americans heard an earful from Muslims worldwide about how God was punishing the United States for its actions in Iraq and Afghanistan. I wonder if the same reasoning is now being applied to the devastating earthquake in Pakistan? I am interested in hearing from all the self-appointed Muslim apologists whose knee-jerk reaction to all that happens in the world is to blame America. STEVE ELISHA Colorado Springs, CO, US I will be expecting replies here! Regards, Adil Memon

dont know the exact matter picture behind however, my comments, **one person sold 8 coffins in Islamabad for RS 18000/- hmmm, perhaps, but probably it could be wrong **in Karachi one coffin of 100-300 rs are now sold for rs700/- to 1200/- it may be a possibility as i m not at karachi **In Mansehra group of gunned man looted two trucks which were taking goods for relief work, police did come to rescue afterwards to protect the remainig ones but they can't do everything everywhere dear, what i heard is that some persons tried to stop the trucks nd tried to get the luggage, but look those people were unable to receive any thing from previous two to three days because of road blockage/loss of transport links nd intense rainfall, so it may happen but if u would be there u would also b doing the same for sving ur good ones **In Muzzafarabad the professionals who bathe the bodies(MAYYATS) have taken away all the gold things of bodies what professionals remained there ? my friend yesterday came to me, he was at kotli (AJ&K) when the earthquake came and his younger bro was in aj&k university, his brother was saved through skin of his teeth as he was in his hostel room he was saved bcoz he was at corner doing something, his room mate passed away and only in the university about 700-800 people died. the most affected areas are AJ&K (Muzaffarabad, bagh and rawalakot dissts) nd Hazara Division (Mansehra, Balakot, Batagram, kohistan etc.) there wont b any truth. there are very less families in muzafarabad who r not having a casualty. even a sister nd two nephews of Prime Minister of AJ&K expired. **The buses which used to take Rs32-100/- to take ppl from Mirpur to Muzzafarabad are charging rs500/- and the buses which wud take 300/- to take ppl from Islamabad to Muzzafarabad are taking rs 1400/- road were blocked nd fuel is not available in muzaffarabad, FWO nd Engr Corps r doing work day and night but due to intense rainfall the roads again get closed so it is a fact -- now relief material is going there, i witnessed pple were rushing there to help out their distressed brethren but what have been done no one can return, it was wil of Allah nd we cannot do any thing except to help nd help a lot vast areas have been vanished, many villages/town rocked to earth, u can watch ARY or GEO, but the worst cannot be viewed !!!

furthering to my above post i have been compelled to state that the conditions regarding law and order are worsened at some places on roads leading to Muzaffarabad Distt. and upper Hazara Division i.e. Mansehra, Shangla, Batagram, Kohistan etc. though the infrastructure of law enforcement agencies has also been detroited in the Hazara Division and three districts of AJ&K but the Haripur of Hazara Division and remaining districts of AJ&K has not been contributing any thing for enforcing law and order and the Provincial Government in NWFP, alas, i thought that what the hell provincialism they talk of ! where is MMA ? i met some of workers of al-khidmat group, a branch of MMA they were saying that govt has not been doing any thing important even they did not prefer to attend NSC meeting, in this respect laud goes to Chief Minister NWFP who stirred up energies to attend the meeting. the President also confessed during his speech that initially the relief was not on speedy bcoz of lack of communication; closure of roads; less number of helis etc. but inshallah the same wont b happening in future on the other hand, by HIS grace the roads have been filled with the trucks and vehicles loaded with the commodities and some of acquaintances of mine have gone there carrying relief goods i have witnessed that the major points in twin cities were piled up with the luggage/donations, which r being sent to the affected areas through Trucks, Shehzores, Suzukis and personal vehicles etc. even though some lost their vehicles going/returning through the NWFP route any how, the people are contributing a lot as well as foreign countries. inshallah all things would be okay in a day or two as two more Divs had been sent for relief work specifically for rehabilitation, for which heavy machinery sent day before yesterday in my thinking this is the time for persistent joint/coordinated efforts, for which the army is the right body already working on ground please regret for fore mentioned haphazard views of mine, if against to sentiments of anyone
