The effects of social media can be summerized as under;

1- Turnout of voters increased to 55%

2- Pakistan becomes one nation ignoring regionalism.

3- Young voters were mobilized on large scale.

4- Upper-class came out first time to vote in the history of pakistan.

5- A terrorist group operating in the guise of a political party was exposed in
karachi.

There are several other benefits that can be ascribed to Social media with reference to Election 2013.
