The governments one after another not only show lack of interest in implementing Islam for 64 years but also promoted or backed unislamic elements. So the lack of confidence towards the governments is natural. And I also wont be surprised if someone or some group rise against them. But if the army neutralize such groups, that does not mean they were your enemies. Army did it because it is their job, they do what has to be done regardless of the other side being friend or foe. The people you consider your enemies had more commitment with "Islamic republic of Pakistan" than the government. If the government were practicing muslims and were more loyal to implement "Islam" then I would consider the people of lal masjid to be enemies. But that was not the case. Quote:

Waqas Azhar
Brother your confusion will be resolved if you take "Islamic republic of Pakistan" and the "Government of Pakistan" as separate entities.
Our first loyalty belongs to "Islamic republic of Pakistan" thus to Islam. So anything against Islam is wrong even the government if it is supporting or promoting the wrong. |

19. Patriotism Islam appeared as a protest against idolatry. And what is patriotism but a subtle form of idolatry; a deification of a material object. The patriotic songs of various nations will bear me out in my calling patriotism a deification of a material object. Islam could not tolerate idolatry in any form. It is our eternal mission to protest against idolatry in all its forms. What was to be demolished by Islam could not be made the very principle of its structure as a political community. The fact that the Prophet prospered and died in a place not his birthplace is perhaps a mystic hint to the same effect. In simple words, Patriotism without religion is idolatry. |

Subhan Ahmed: Your entire argument seems to be based on the erroneous belief that we both are in agreement over the implementation of Islamic laws. I assure you, we most certainly are not. So please clear that up. Now if you will read my post again without assuming that I too believe in the implementation of Islamic law, you'll be able to reply better.

whatever i am in favour of safe and legalized prostitution,in just 2014 there are more than 40 registered cases of child rape and abuse and thousand unregistered(prestige issue).according to google 2012-13 report pakistan was on top in porn searches just leave it i focused on what they searched for?you know the searches were like animal sex and rape sex(70 %),in bbc analysis by a psychologist it shows high sexual frustration and repression because of strict norms and absence of legalized prostitution.so i favour it but if it is in well design shape,e.g no forced prostitution as u mentioned and with a medical certificate.
if you talk about islamic law then islam has also its solution merry kids when they are adult, but in our societal arrangement its almost difficult due to materialistic goals and career problems, so what is alternate to save at least innocent girls and babies from these wilds? han?

It is job of the parents to protect their children. It is job of the government to provide protection to the society. It is job of the government to take care of orphans. Brother how could you say that prostitution should be legalized? and why do you say that? so that people should watch less porn? so that rapes decrease? you are saving some at the cost of others? It is better to kill a woman than to make her a prostitute. Yes you read that right. At least she will die a person rather than living as an object. and if you legalize prostitution then instead of reducing all these crimes that you mentioned you will also increase others like human trafficking, selling of girls, kidnapping of girls etc... Tou bhai zara khayal se ye keyboard ke button dabaya karo please... |

Watching porn is not a big issue...It's because our people are reluctant to do original sin and preserving them to lower grades...Other Nations don't need to watch these things because the have either lost conscience or they have the things available next door, next street or via direct delivery at home... I think at least if I will be given such facilities then I will not go for them even for free of cost, because I have at least some sense of religious or moral conscience left.
They have no family systems. A wife is found with every new guy every week and so do the husband...A girl loses her chastity at the age of 14-16...Homosexuality,Heterosexuality and what on earth any evil left to be legalized there. Yes, they have legalized every thing...Some of our stupid newly modernized people think that the cause of Western Modernization is their freedom to do any thing any time. No, the reasons are different. They still have people devoting their entire lives to excel in fields of education, technology, social set up, arts, humanities and every possible field of life. Our so-called newly educated woman still gets education to get married safely. They had Madam Curie more then 100 years back..We have none...I know personally the King Edward Medical College ladies who say that we are here to get married with a high status man... They have got prostitutionism legalized but "Prostitute" is still an abuse their. They still use words like 'Pimp', 'Whore' to abuse etc...Legalizing one thing does not mean that to be a prostitute is a respectable profession now...It is legal because their social values have deteriorated to such an extent that they think to keep a prostitute is some times better to avoid other sins. They have indulged in such a miserable way of life that they think it's better to stick on one major but less effective sin then to do a major most effective sin...They know if we will stop our youth from Marijuana, they will end up in Meth..So, let's legalize this Marijuana. We are not dying of hunger because we have not enough freedom or our women are not free or we are not free to make couples in universities openly. There are some other moral reasons due to which we are dying. West always want to endorse wrong things on us that their is some "Lack of Ventilation" in our societies...Yes, we have feudalism, our women are still getting "Wani"...But it's not due to our religion.. Is doing "Wani" some one is allowed in our religion? If we kept on following west blindly then what we will do (and actually we are doing)...Replacing our societies' old tradition "Wani", "Sati" with Modern society's "Freedom to have sexual relationships"...Both are just two extreme facets of an evil related to a same faculty of life.
