Well I think that all the progress made by the democratic forces has been lost due to these dharnas and sit ins. What do you guys say?

According to some foreign news reports, the extra constitutional forces have wrested the control of key policy areas such as defence, foreign policy etc. from the civilian government and into its own hands. Not a good 'shagun' for democracy.

the role of opposition parties such as PPP, JUI-F, ANP, JI, PkMAP etc. is very crucial in resolving this crisis.

PTI and PAT should some restraint as well and be more flexible in their demands and attitude towards government.

Media should also act in a more responsible manner and refrain from taking side of the either party and be more impartial.

The government should also address the legitimate demands of protesters such as the investigations into the rigging allegations and delivering justice for those killed in Model Town massacre on June 17.

All parties should recognize that Pakistan is suffering on numerous fronts due to these sit ins. According to different sources (government and private) our economy has lost billions of ruppes in the last couple of weeks due to political instability.

It is perhaps time that both sides act maturely and channel their energies for addressing the grave issues that our country faces.

i totally agree with you hassan.

What i hate the most in the current political dilemma is the practice of yellow journalism.
