Default Mohen Jo Daro Before Catastrophe

The lifestyle of the people of Mohenjo Jo Daro can’t just make you like the city. It can have you liking their civilization likewise. One of the famous civilizations in 2500 BCE was the Indus Valley civilization, in which there were many cities with a population of 50 lac people, and one of the famous cities of the Indus civilization was Mohenjo Jo Daro.

The Mohen Jo Daro city was built according to plan; They had gotten expertise in hydro engineering to a greater extent. There were 700 wells, underground laid pipes, which helped them use water on a daily basis, one pool, sewerage management, and kitchens with running water. There was modern plumbing in Mohen Jo Daro five thousand years ago, but we couldn’t have this facility in most parts of the world until late 20th century.

If only we had got to see the living style of the people of Mohenjo Jo Daro, one of the famous civilizations of the world in 2500 BCE. To measure things, they used to have pairs of scales, and they used to measure even tiny things through pairs of scales.

They had acquired expertise in the art of human clay sculpture, making human bodies with clay. They used to spend evenings playing games of chance (board games) and other games. They used to trade in groups and go to other cities. They used to cure dental complications.

After having known about all this, one would go crazy to wish to see them with their eyes in that time, seeing that the existence of Mohenjo Jo Daro didn’t go unnoticed by the world thus far.

They used to have a language in which they used to write and affix signs to the buildings in the city. Their language can’t have been decoded yet. They were like us and used to live the way we do.

They didn’t have weapons or wars. Having said that, there came a day in which the city of Mohen Jo Daro was pulverised.
