Once again advertisement in Leading Newspapers has been published by ministry of privatization commission regarding privatizing FESCO, now let's see what will happen next..and what would be the future of newly selected candidates..despite of the fact there is strong opposition within government ranks i.e from Ministry of Planning Commission against privatization, what final decision would be taken will have to wait

These inductions of FESCO LESCO and other companies (at least of BPS-17) are duly signed and notified by ministry and privatization commission (as mentioned in the letter shared earlier on this forum indicating lifting of ban on recruitment).
So there is no danger for them getting cancelled or called off. However the only danger is that if any company gets privatized (literally) then the regularization process of fresh inductees (after one year) and pensions and other perks of government servants would be gone.

Alhamdullilah just received the joining letter...On subject line it is clearly mentioned that these posts are for one year only...nothing mentioned like possibility of extension of contract or something...Any how thanks to Almighty Allah

Many congratulations on appointment letter
Don't worry these posts are very important officers grade seats and are 100% likely to be regularized after a year (or contract to xtanded in case of privatization)
Don't confuse these Important posts with PTCL one year internship program where after one year you are almost 70-80% likely to be released from PTCL without being offered job

Ap please yeh confirm kar sakty hain k ek year k bad yeh extend hoga ya nahi in case private bhi hojae to humain rakha jaega ya nikal diya jaega...
Because mujhy isi level ki 3 aur jobs ka bhi offer latter juld he mil jaega but main junior engineer he banna chahta tha to please yeh confirm karain warna main dosre options per gor karon
