Before commenting this, you should have done a fair and unbiased check over the recruitment procedure of FESCO and compared it to other DISCO's. It seems the most fair and truly on merit process. Find a black spot in this process, highlight it and then share such comment with proof.

Brother there is use of such discussion. Wait for few days, you will come to know either merit has been observed or not. In my opinion, We should expect good news but, ready to face bad news also after all we are living in a country where feudal lords are master of everyone's fate. Fesco recruitment seems transparent up till now. But you know maximum students have same marks in written test, so its sure interview will decide the fate of applicants. Now its depends either your interview performance will determine your system or our so called democratic system which has been dominated by corruption, nepotism and feudalism. In spite of all these menaces , I am expecting good news for me and all of you. But if you will not able to make through in Fesco, don't lose heart. Believe me, you will have to reach where, for what you have been sent here.

Of-course many sons and daughters have failed to reach to the interview because of adopting true method of initial shortlisting and FESCO is far better than LESCO uptill shortlisting BUT in my opinion FESCO must go to the bottom while selecting SDOs because of two reasons:

Firstly, many Electronics candidates have reached high in the NTS marks list because of Electronics favoring test but this job suits to Power ones and secondly there is too much saturation in marks i.e. so many candidates having same marks.

Now you are on the right line man
At least we must admit and appreciate the merit shown so far by FESCO
and yes your point is right
FESCO must not select only from top but select what suits its organization
and as the marks are shared by almost 20-30 candidates per mark, the decision to be made (if on merit) would be difficult for them.

The person who born in Islamabad, having CNIC of Islamabad, educated in Islamabad since early education till university level BUT has made domicile of Sindh (Rural)!!!!

This is fact that most people from Punjab keep domicile of Sindh as well Punjab.

I agree they should go to the bottom and not only select the toppers in a continuous order as they have done in Aghaz e Haqooq Balochistan.

FESCO test was full of repeated questions and toppers are not necessarily the talented ones.

The candidate having 82 marks is as talented as the one having 96 and even the former may be more talented because the later made a ratta to the repeated questions but the former did a conceptual study, most probably.
