Hy guys
seems no body wants to become forensic scientist :P
please share exam preperation strategies and material regarding the test.
it is lucrative job opportunity (still better than private sector).
Those who have prior experience please share.

Thus time they have changed the syllabus. Last time only 41 candidates(against 128 seats) could cross the threshold 65 number, so that could be the reason to cancel the seats and advertised them again.

May be this time they lower the difficulty level so they can easily recruit 128 forensic scientist but we have to prepare hard because every time lower number of candidates cross the 65 number limit against advertised seats.

Remember one thing PFSA never compromise on his 65% score policy so try to get 65% score, history tells us if someone has got 65% scores he is almost 90% selected.

You should call to PFSA and request them to reduce the lower age limit, may be your single call could solve the problem for many aspirants.

Davidd can you elaborate your statement regarding changing of syllabus.
i have two queries:
1.Which topic should be extensively covered.?
2.What strategy one can opt to score more than 65 marks.

Last time the syllabus was included as forensic 40% english 20% analytical 20% math and computer 20%. English was tricky and forensic was very difficult and there was some question from criminology too.

But this time syllabus is different and I dont know how to cover biology, zoology and botany, I mean study them deep or just basics. I looked at the previous threads of forensic agency tests and came to know that test always remained tricky and its not easy to score 65% with little preparation.
The book mentioned in above post is best for forensic portion.
