Hi,
Some days back from I received a call from PPL office Karachi for an interview (for the position of trainee associate). the interview is being held in Karachi and I live in Islamabad. My question is Should I make the effort of going all the way to Karachi for one day?
Also I have no idea about PPL,if someone could please guide me.

PPL has called candidates as per provincial quota. Suppose there is one seat for Islamabad for particular technology and your are topper of your region so only you will be called for interview and second position holder won't be called from your region until you disqualify the interview. And as per previous tradition PPL mostly selects the ones in first list and they usually accept the written merit.

So if you are called for interview this simply means there are bright chances of your selection.

This is basically a training program, after selection you will be trained for one year in head office Karachi and then one year on field. Last batch of trainees were made permanent employees so there are bright chances that you will be a part of PPL as permanent employees after two years.

In last batch the starting package was 45K per month but there are rumours that PPL may offer new batch 60K per month. After one year it will be near 90K per month. In PPL you have work three weeks and then there is three weeks leave.

It is one of the most desired jobs in Pakistan because of facilities at field, leave of three weeks, attractive salary package etc. Don't miss this chance bro. You are lucky that you have got this chance. You must go for this interview.

Ppl has announced on job training program for few districts before it same post announced for whole country now im applying for this post on my district quota still one month remaining but i don't know kis qisam k question aain gy test main any senior can help me plz
