SOP for Staff Allocation is as following (please read with care):

I have already read these SOP's months before but my question is in the scenario of initial duties as for training purposes and I said YES when there is no update on WAPDA test by NTS. It is also surprising that NTS is going to conduct a test just after 3 days of announcement. Moreover the SOP said that we have to send an sms for final confirmation but there is no sms about the test center venue and time yet (when only 2 days left behind)

@dear murtaza don't worry it won't hurt much. The consequences is that you will get just -1 mark for this coming test as you have already said yes in advance. And these marks are just for seniority base. In the future you will make more marks with your performance and duties. Secondly on this sunday there are two tests tomorrow you will receive timings and venue for test, and the chances are you will be called for both tests. So perform duty for the one where your test doesn't meet thw timing and excuse for the second one. Tomorrow you will get your CS number as well call him and inform the scenario. I received the msg from nts today and I have been called for two consecutive duties on this sunday so wait till tomorrow.


You will receive it till tomorrow. I received it late in the evening today around 630pm.
Focus on your tests. Don't worry you will ne called again and again in the future. Interesting thing is that when I was having my first duty more than four invigilators were absent without informing their cs and they were old employees. So your case is quite positive and you will inform your cs well before time which will just cost you 1marks.

I had applied for CS post and after passing the exam with 78 marks I received an SMS for confirming my availability and yesterday I received my first duty timings and schedule. I hope it will be a good part time experience...

congratulations. Yes it is a great part time experience and it gives you management skills specially time management.

Thanks a lot. You're right. I've been into invigilation and I've found it exciting because it boosts your confidence and public interaction skills a lot. My domicile is KP but my selected duty city is Lahore.

Didn't receive any sms from NTS about my first duty besides confirming my availability for 28th August 2016 earlier. The biggest problem lies with NTS communication channel as they usually don't response on time.
