dear friends I appeared in the test of senior auditor pmad last year although I put my utmost effort worked hard for about 6 hours daily along with doing government job but still I could not manage to qualify the bps 16 test as I was not among the candidates who were asked to submit the documents.

But I did not quit my effort and kept on studying the same syllabous from different books of bcom level and after one year I took the test of ASST CHIEF ADMN OFFICER BPS 17 in GHQ there were almost 8000 candidates who applied and I have been among the 25 candidates who have been asked to submit the documents.
I might have got marks above 75 I guess. the syllabous is not too difficult just concentrate on accounting principles, depreciation, adjusting enteries and their effects, ppra rules etc. and go through fully the books of bcom level especially bcom part 1 book about 80 percent accounting mcqs are taken from part 1 book and only prepare ratio analysis from part 2 book and nothing else. Inshallah ALLAH would be with all of you.

dear bro the books are PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTING M ARIF SOHAIL AFZAL and the other one COST ACCOUNTING M ARIF SOHAIL AFZAL. Just try to grasp the concepts it will be highly racomended if you make bulleted notes of important topics just study like this.

1. CONCEPTS OF ACCOUNTING all the concepts of accounting like Matching principle, ACCURAL BASIS, REALIZATION PRINCIPLE, SEPARATE ENTITY, FULL DISCLOUSURE, ets all the concepts should be memorised and properly understood.

2. just try to understand the journal enteries in the way what would be the effect of every journal entry on the accounting equation ASSETS=LIB+OE

3. Understand the adjusting enteries in a crystal clear manner you can take up help from youtube lectures in it. The effects of adjusting enteries should be memorised or in the other words rattalized. You must know what would be the effect on income statement as well as the balance sheet if any of the adjusting enteries is omitted to be passed.

4. try to understand what accounts have debit balance what have credit balance etc.
5. also try to understand real and nominal accounts.

next time I would tell about how to prepare cost accounting concepts
