Merit will be overall not batch wise. I thing students who will score above 70 will stand a chance in final selection. If students of batch 1 were well prepared than they have edge on others as paper of 1st batch was hell easy.

What option you selected of counterfeiting items in Federal Excise

I am unable to recall the exact question and options. So, cannot really tell what was my selected option. I do not check answers of my tests most of the time. I am sure about my expected score as I have background of subject and I have counted MCQ,s which were marked by me soon after 1st reading. Almost in 20-25 MCQ's I had difficulty in answering. I have marked them anyway as there was no negative marking.

Some one told me today that fpsc checks answer sheets manually, is it correct?????

Do not know if it is true, but the delay shown in announcing results of previous posts indicates that FPSC checks answer sheets manually.

But again, there are few instances where the result is announced within a month after conducting of test. Like the result of Case. No-248 Staff Nurses has been announced. Initial test for these posts was also conducted in January, through ad 11/2016.

PRESS RELEASE
A news item has appeared in the press about availability of guess/questions on social media
relating to two compulsory papers of CSS-2017 Examination, much before actual conduct of the
papers. It has been alleged that the actual questions in the papers were quite similar. It is
emphasized that strong and foolproof mechanisms are in place to maintain secrecy and
confidentiality of question papers as well as other related information at the Federal Public
Service Commission. It is felt that certain quarters may be making an attempt to cast aspersions
on the working of FPSC. The matter has been taken very seriously by the Commission and
accordingly referred to Federal Investigation Agency to probe and investigate the matter.
