I just wanted to know whats so good about PPL that one must go there as a trainee engineer in particular or any other field in general?

Is it worth leaving a job near your home?

What do you guys think...

I am a civil engr. and scored 80 in the test.

I think you should continue with your current job because there is no guarantee of job after doing PPL training and you know getting job today is how much difficult.

As a trainee in PPL you 'll earn below 50k and it 'll rise to plus 70k when you get promoted after your training period...but with negligible benefits unless you get promoted to some higher level i.e G-7 (it 'll take atleast 4-5 years more after your training period)....and one imp thing engineers are usually posted at filed locations where PPL pays all the expenses plus days off and air tickets, so you dont hav to spend a single peny from your pocket...but if posted in the office then you have to manage everything on ur own including ur living ....anyways you 'l get clear after recieving the job offer so wait til the offer letter

It also depends on what u want?If u want to work in an oil company than you should accept the offer from PPL but my suggestion is that don't leave the current job because you never know about government policy.

If someone receives an interview call from PPL, can they please post the details here to benefit the rest of us? That'd be awesome, thanks!

@yousafinam

Hello! Considering your super high score, I would assume you would definitely receive an interview call. Would you please let me know or just post it in the forums when you do receive the call? Would really help calm my nerves lol. Thanks mate.
