Let me explain it more.
My Masters CGPA is 3.76/ and according to current criteria my percentage would be 3.76/4*10=9.4 (which is not a good calculation) and my marks in MBA is 2077/2500*10=8.3. Similarly my BA marks are 599/800*5=3.74 (CGPA of a person with this percentage is 3.6 then my calculation would be 3.6/4*5=4.5) aur yehi hua hai k they haven't calculated correctly. SBP ka process best hai k wo kehtay hain k jinka CGPA hai wo percentage main convert kr k score likhen.

Current criteria main tou wo log straight forward down the merit hon gy jinhon ny GPA system main ni bachelor ya masters kiya.

And jin k nts main ziada marks hain unko tou pehly hi 50 percentage allocation ka edge hai, problem is with 35 percent academic career score dear.

It should be like 50% nts test and 50% interview. Academics shouldn't be considered as some are commerce,arts,science degree holders, some are doctors,engineers. So it is irrelevant to compare them on the basis of their background because they are all different.

@abdul qadir
what is the mathematical relation between cgpa and % ?
what i have seen in normal practice is that percentage is almost never 100 but gpa's are often 4 ( because most institute mark on relative basis) . so as per my analysis , its easier to score high in CGPA and those with percentage will suffer .correct me if i am wrong.

how can they give equal importance to a person with 16 years of education and 18 years of education?? its totally a wrong procedure. they are going to call only first 100 people but if you see in list mostly have 16 years of education. i agreed on thier nts marks but academic background should be considered...

(with all respect) most of the private universities give their students cgpa as a gift. earning cgpa in govt uni is more difficult. so lda should consider this fact as well.

LDA has already given 35% weight-age to academics. how much do you think it shall be? in SBP YPIP and BSC no weightage of your academics is taken regarding screening. similarly PPSC have the same trend of screening.

i am not saying that they are not giving weightage to academics. but the way to considering is not correct. how can you give equal weightage to 16 and 18 years of education? in preparing list they should consider this point but unfortunately the more focus is on nts marks which is not right

contact lda for this query. I think NOC is required if so...it is issued by department.
