I never had experienced KRL test but one of my friend gave it last year.. so i want to share his experience with all of you..
According to him:
it was all subjective MCQs and no IQ/English and No negative marking. They will conduct interview on the same day. only those who will clear the written test will be able to give interview..
bring original documents, pen (blue/black), calculator, original CNIC, call letter

Omgg!!! to many replies to read

1) anyhow, can any1 tell me about basic test pattern for asst. Engineer Electronics???
Note: There are too many fields within electronics engineering so please specify the main subject which has to be prepare from this test point of view.

2) Total test time???

3) Is any1 have KRL office phone# for further assistance, then please let me know...

It would be technical. But not difficult. All questions will be based upon standard HEC curriculum that is being taught in Pakistani Universities. I had given test last year. Major portion was from Control Systems, Filter Design, Signals & Systems and Digital Signal Processing. Other questions were from Basic Electrical Engineering, Circuit Theory, Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Electrical Machines and Power Electronics.

If you've understood these courses then you can easily clear the exam. Nothing was from out of the book, they test basic concepts of each of these core courses.

jis ko SMS ni aya wo test dene jy ya nahi ???

Confusion start ho gyi hai one of my frnd having CGPA 3.4 Got SMS and Other frnd having 3.7 Received nothing

same problem here.. my friend got 75% and he got sms.. i got 80% and did not receive any sms.. what should we do? anyone has any advice?

Any mechatronics engineer here who got sms?
My test is on 16th feb... any idea what topics to study for krl? I think it will be mostly from electronics and control right?
