according to my information total seats are around 450.... 50 seats for engineers,, nd 400 seats for all other disciplines,,,,, source ( my close friend working as a Grade-1 in SNGPL)

I had heard a year ago that about 650+ seats of Officers (G1 to G3) & subordinate staff were vacant in SNGPL. Out of those 650 odd seats, only 120 seats were of Officers grade, & that were too got vacant due to resignation of officers who were hired in 2011-12. Rest of the vacancies were of Subordinate staff.... Hiring of Subordinate staff is done through SNGPL union. No Advertisement & No NTS for subordinate hiring.....

ok brother if there is around 120 seats,,,, minimum 50 seats will be for engineers,,, nd other 70 seats will for all other disciplines? there are around 17 other disciples,,,,,,its mean each discipline have only 4 seats,,,,,
if there is 4 seats for each discipline, then merit will be 65 marks,,,, because there is many candidates above the 65 marks,,, merit will not be 60,,,,,,

Yes, that's right.... 50+ seats are reserved for Engineers. about 20 for Accounts/Audit/Finance/Billing & remaining for CS, Admin, MIS, Secretaries, Sales etc...... About merit it will depend upon scoring trend, may be 65%, but its not confirmed...

if we take accounts,, around 200+ candidates got 60 and 60+ marks,
same for procurement, around 100 candidates got 60 + marks,,,
in this situation merit will questionable my dear brother,,,,,,

Why you people Not check Old POsts, Dears SNGPL Hr department said Those candidates who scored 60 and 60 above will be called for interview... And still you people are predicting etccccccc...... Rather than still debating on Criteria we should start focusing on Interview prepration.......
