no it is not so its not only formality think about the cost to conduct this test, they are not made to spend lots of funds only for formalities.

Yea this is true that no setting plan is present ,Everybody can set on their own choice ,shukr ada karo ktest kafi achy mahol mai ho raha hai warna KRL ,Atomic,Nescom mai tu buri halat hoti hai .

Does anyone given test so far ?? I have heard some of the candidates are scheduled to give test from 7th of july to 10th of july 2014, if anyone has given test so far , please share with us the test pattern , I am short listed for AM-IT and i need someone's assistance to know what kind of test they are conducting.

Organization is NESCOM(MTC)
I gave mechatronics test and even though i dont remember exact questions but here are the topics:
Control systems (stability, gain etc conceptual questions)
little bit of basic electronics
electronics (amplifiers, bit of transistors, filters, microcontrollers, pwm)
some mechanical questions such as moment of inertia of different types of bodies
some thermo questions such has PV diagrams, efficiency of simple turbine etc

Overall the test was not very difficult but I gave it without any preparation
