the concept of input and output tax is use in VAT(value added Tax).
to put it simply, let's suppose that u buy a thing X of Rs.100, the person who sells it to you will sell it including tax. (input tax)
and when you increase the value of X good, you sell it to another person for, say, Rs.150. this will include a tax which that person has to pay you. (output tax).

I visited urdu bazar today.. that book is not good because it is more like an aptitude book and it is not according to the syllabus of Inspector.. better not to go for this

Instead of Fiscal Policy of Pakistan, they should have included Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 in full. Practically speaking, Inland Revenue Inspectors at field offices are posted at enforcement units/audit units/legal units etc.; and instead of having the foreknowledge of section 177, section 175, section 176, section 114, section 115, section 120, section 121, section 122, section 127 etc. and the recovery rules of Income Tax Rules, 2002 and many key sections, FPSC is sending Inspectors to RTOs/LTUs who should know about the expenditures of Pakistan, how much aid was required for national treasury etc., the latter is the job of senior hierarchy at FBR or Ministry of Finance, not that of an Inspector IR who is merely subordinate to an officer of Inland Revenue. Even the charging section is not included, I rest my case!

you are right brother but Inspectors will also be promoted to the rank of AC. Fpsc has designed the syllabus keeping in view this fact

I have 2 queries.Both are related to fiscal policy. 1. do you have any idea mcqs from fiscal policy will be theoretical or numerical based? 2 How one should approach fiscal policy? we should go through 2013/14 policy or generally we should know about fiscal policy of Pakistan.
