What kind of question are expected?

I had my first interview yesterday it was quite tough for me because the panel was tired and was under stress we were the last three candidates.
We were interviewed after lunch break.
Because i couldnt sleep properly that night therefore the second day was very tired.

It was a behavioral-cum-stress interview.


The panel asked me what is your family background?
I said i come from an agricultural background
After completing studies, i started farming because my family has been associated with farming but then i realised that i should be doing something else, therefore i started preparing for CSS.


The panel repeatedly ask me why you want to join PSO
I told them because of prospects of career growth.
They asked me repeatedly that I did MBA in 2009 and why was I not working since then. I told them that i had applied at numerous places and somewhere i was shortlisted and at few places i was not and at some places i couldnt qualify the recruitment test. However, I had been preparing for CSS and i was busy with CSS preparation.

Then a member from the panel asked me that what were your optionals in CSS exam?
I said:
1. Islamic History
2. Sindhi
3. Sociology
4. Journalism
5. Public Administration

The member asked me why didnt you opt for any marketing or Bus. Ad subject?

I said : Because i was novice to CSS and my tutor told me to opt for Public. Ad since it was his subject and he guided me well on this subject therefore I opted for the subject.


It was 15mins (plus-minus) interview .
And the panel was tired and so was I therefore it was more/less like stress interview.

Candidate there with minimum score was 68

They will ask questions mostly from your cv so should know how to defend your cv they will try to trap you by pointing different points frok it..some questions about yourswlf your immediate family to confirm that whether you are ready for relocation or not or will yoir family will support it. Expected salary..Revise the important concepts of marketing too one oe two questions will bw from there..if you dont know the answer try but if you cant dont give the qrong answer and just say sorry..thats all.

sharing questions won't do any good for you cuz all of em were from my educational background, You should expect that they can ask anything from your Edu background. So, embrace yourself.!

As I told before, I received call for the submission of CV. I asked her if I submit My CV, when will be my interview. She told me the details. After that I sent CV and received Confirmation letter from PSO. But Now I did not receive any call after submission of CV. I am Confuse, Am I selected. Should I go for interview. As I have to go to Lahore from Faisalabad.

in my case they didn't confirm whether they have received my cv or not. but my interview was as per schedule. you should go for interview.

don't worry u will get confirmation email from PSO Hr. just focus on your interview preparation.... Best of Luck
