i have done masters in English lit and further i want to do Masters in some subject of Social Sciences so what should i opt for in the online application of NTS in the categoryof desired subject? whother i should go for languages or social sciences?

There is no mention of any prerequisites for PhD on the CSCUK's site. I'm curious, can Bachelors (16y) directly apply to a PhD Program through this scholarship scheme?

And does chance of success differ if we apply to either masters or phd? Also does the selected "field of study" in the NTS Form matter? Can that be dodged somehow?
