fahad bhai kindly advise us for selection as i am alternate candidate what should we do to select for scholarship

Zeeeee Thursday, February 25, 2016 10:31 PM

Whatever you may say but this is a serious drawback for those in medical! I am 4th in my category and this is somehow disappointing. Im sure you are aware that medical sciences are considered tough and do tend to have the highest merit when it comes to admission processes even at entry level.
fahad bhai kindly advise us for selection as i am alternate candidate what should we do to select for scholarship
Last year many alternate candidates were selected by Chinese universities and many principal candidates were rejected, principal and alternate candidates are treated as equal by chinese universities. Just apply to universities matching your academic profile, avoid writing top universities like tsinghua, peking university in your preference list where competition is too high.

I understand your disappointment, best of luck for future.

You can pursue both if given admission in either of them. But only some universities accept 16 year master for their phd program, most universities accept 18 year master only. It would be better to apply for 18 year master as it would be a logical step after completing 16 year education.

If you are in Lahore, then go to Services hospital in morning(at 7:30 or earlier), if not then go to your nearest District headquarter hospital. Take Foreigner physical examination form(link to download in my previous post and also given on csc website) with you(with your photos attached). Give it to the doctors there and they will fill it and return it to you sometime later after their procedures(taking blood test, urine test, eye test and xray). Photocopy the filled foreigner physical examination form and any other paper document/report returned to you and attach it with your application after notarizing it. Attach whatever paper document related to medical examination is returned to you by hospital and don't worry about something hospital hasn't given to you.

Thousands of students apply from each district every year, so it is a normal procedure and most of the staff of concerned department knows.

fahad bhai, i took the medical certificate signed by the respective medical officer, but hospital did not attach any xray report and also they did not take my LDVR test, so i went to Lahore chugtai lab where i gave my blood sample for ldvr test, is it right??? and also you mentioned in your previous post notarized what does it meant for??and also last thing is it necessary to have recommendations letter to those who have taught you courses in your Masters or University it self by the Program manager can give it to you. kindly reply as it is the biggest tension for me in this limited time. looking for your response. thanks

"The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid."
Attaching Chughtai lab blood report wasn't necessary but if you have it and it is not inconsistent with the filled form then you can attach it(beside results, time and date should also be consistent). It was already mentioned in my previous post that attach whatever is returned to you(in form of paper document besides the filled foreigner physical examination form) by the hospital and you don't need to do anything extra.

Notarizing is a type of attestation. Go to your nearest court and ask any stamp paper seller, he will get your documents notarized for you. Generally they take between Rs. 10 to Rs. 20 per document.

For academic purposes, recommendation letters from academic staff are required i.e from faculty members of your last institute attended. CSC has specifically mentioned on its website that the recommendation letters should be signed by full professor or associate professor. But if you cannot acquire then give other sources a try, they may or may not be acceptable. It depends on policy of your prospective university.

Make first set using following documents:
1. Application Form (original)
2. Notarized Degrees (photocopy);
3. Academic transcripts (Originals preferred otherwise use colored photocopies)
4. A Study Plan or Research Proposal
5. Two Recommendation Letters (originals)
6. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy)
7. Passport(if available) (photocopy)

Make second set by photocopying the first set. Now notarize all the photocopies in both sets (except application form, study plan/research proposal, passport copy)

Bind both sets separately, when done, your application is ready.

Yes, send study plan(statement of purpose) and if you can make research proposal, then send it too.

IPC notifies about application results in end of July or start of August. Start preparing all of your documents earlier if you think you have good chances or if you get admission e mail because one month is too short for this process.

1- IBCC attestation of matric and inter certificates (for that you need photocopy attestation of same from your respective board first) //last year embassy didn't check matric and inter certificates but this takes 15 days therefore you should do it to be on the safe side if embassy checks it//

2- HEC attestation of bachelor onward degrees and transcripts//can be done on same day if you reach early in morning at about 7 am. Rs. 800 per document//

3- Police clearance certificate from your district/divisional police office//do check the validity period of this certificate. It takes 10 working days and Rs. 100//
4- MOFA attestation of all above //Go early and it will be done on same day. Price of tickets is different for different documents//
5- Medical certificate from embassy designated hospitals. //Rs. 5000 to get in 4 hours. Rs. 4000 to get on next day
