The Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC) has assigned the task of conducting the GRE (Local) Subject wise test to the National Testing Service (NTS) for the subject scholarships.

Applications are invited for study abroad under the Cultural Exchange Scholarships Programme for the year 2016 for Master's and Ph.D studies in various subjects. The scholarships are expected from China, Turkey, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Mexico, Greece, Russia, South Korea and Italy. These scholarships are Fully Funded as the donor countries provide tuition fee, accomodation and monthly living allowance, which varies from country to country.

[B][SIZE="3"]ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:[/SIZE][/B]

The candidates must have completed Sixteen Years Education that is MA / MSc OR must hold four (04) years B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture , B.Sc (Engg), BCS (Hons), MBBS in the relevant field.


[B][SIZE="3"]OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:[/SIZE][/B]


1. Maximum age limit is 35 years on the closing date of applications.
2. Applicants having more than one second division in their academic career are not eligible to apply.
3. Attested copies of each supporting document (Matric to onward) including domicile certificate, must be sent with the application. The professional degree holders B.Sc Engg / MBBS, B.Sc(Hons) Agriculture should submit detailed marks certificate of each year.
4. The scholarships are awarded on merit determined on the basis of NTS Test score, observing Provincial/ Regional quota.
5. The candidates will have to take Language Course of the respective country (if applicable).
6. Students awaiting results are not eligible to apply.

♦ Applications must be received by NTS not later than 11-11-2015.
♦ NTS will not be responsible for late receipt of applications sent through post.
♦ Please deposit online through the prescribed deposit slip in the online branches of ABL, UBL, MCB or HBL. Application form and online deposit slip are available on NTS website.
♦ Candidates are required to send their applications to NTS Headquarters, Islamabad on prescribed forms along with online deposit slip (original).
♦ Candidate can also use printout of webpage containing their test related information as roll no. slip.
♦ Deposited amount is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
♦ Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.

Eligibility criteria says sixteen years of education that is MA/MSC so what about those candidates who have an MBA, are they eligible?

Any idea..how many seats will be there country wise or field of study wise ?

Merit list is compiled on the basis of provincial seats and in accordance with the discipline wise seats.. As far as the seats are concerned, Chinese government give most of the scholarships, ranging from 150 to 200..

ok...then is there any estimate of total scholarships awarded to Pakistani students?, and can a business graduate opt social sciences for masters program ?

there is no estimate for the number of scholarships, it depends on the donor country. I've told you an estimate of Chinese govt scholarships in the said program, the donor countries other than China give a small number of scholarships which may range from 5 to 10, not more than that.
Regarding the test you can't opt for social science as you are a business graduate, but after the test if you are able to qualify the test then you can choose your field for masters, which may be different than your department.

As I have done my engineering in computer systems, i have found engineering and computers two different subjects. what would be the format of test?
would it be subjective or objective and what subjects will it cover?

Objective
GRE Engg. i.e
pattern is actually variable.
In engg category,inter-level physics and chemistry were mostly included in 2012-test.
in 2013 pattern was different.As i remember,questions related to computer,embedded systems etc. were included.

Depends on the university you are selected in, In China session starts between August and October, generally in first week of September.

So, can any good scorers of GAT test guide us about the best way to prepare for this test? Suggestions related to preparation material and difficulty level of the test will be appreciated. I know there are many GAT prep books available out there but I haven't found them useful in the past.

Depends on these countries if they offer scholarship to Govt. of Pakistan as there is no written agreement. To my knowledge written agreement is only with China and may be Turkey, with China being the major contributor.

Not remember exactly but I think 68, it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper.

No separate criteria, apply directly as others. After selection you will need to get leave for the time of further study. If unable to secure leave then either you have to resign from the job or leave this scholarship.

IELTS Depends on the country you are selected in and the universities of that country you choose to apply to. Merit was 68+. Yes the test will be same for all engineering disciplines. Pattern is 20% english and 80% your field of study like natural sciences, management, engineering, etc. You can find Cultural Exchange Scholarship by IPC page on facebook and find the content distribution in previous year's posts.

Yeah they need transcript on which all semester results are mentioned.

This is not GAT, NTS will conduct GRE(Local). GRE(Local) has 20%english and 80% your field of study.

PharmD degree is included. I mean pharmacists are eligible or not its 17 years education

You have you choose engineering for rest but if you will qualify then you may choose subject in which you are interested to do masters.

Here you have to choose engineering for test but if you will qualify then you xan choose subject other than engineering subjects in whoch you wish to do masters.

Nts test first considered then afterward depend upon academic merit scholarships will be given.

You may go to their website and check option i guess there is option of management science is given
