Default HEC Indigenous Scholarship: Fresh graduates will suffer
Today I met with Mr. Baqir Husnain, Project Manager HEC Indigenous Programme to discuss the issue of last day of receipt of documents i.e 31st December, 2011. my point of view was that how can we (fresh candidates with 16 years of education) secure the admission before 31st dec, 2011 whereas the universities will announce the admission in late December 2011 or January, 2012. He simply said that we can't do anything its ur badluck.

if we all fresh awardes will appeal to Mr. Javed laghari,what do u think will he consider our request??

you can apply by securing APPEARANCE certificate from your university by which you can apply for admission in any Pakistani University that requires 16 years education.

HEC will announce indigenous scholarship in coming year. may be in March to May period.

Its good idea but the request should be on behlaf of all fresh awardees and their should be minimum 10 fresh awardees to meet the chairman or Advisor to Chairman personally and submit their application and inform them about our concerns.

to mr umair i cant find any link on hec website for registration for Indigenous Ph.D. Fellowship Program (5000 Fellowships) scholorship . has hec offered this colorship this year? on the page of this scholorship no last date is mentioned.
kindly guide me bcz i am eligible for this

It was announced back in April 2011. Now a days fresh in take is closed. May be next year they announce new batch.
