selections are finallized in April, and the candidates are informed in the first half of April, ...

Everyone, regularly check the status of your online application, especially the approval from nominating agency and post here whenever when ever the status changes to "approved".

Guys can anyone tell me if it is mandatory/better to submit IELTS result with the online submission.
I have not registered for IELTS yet and plan to give in mid december.

Application must be submitted till 7th Dec, no matter u have ielts score or not. You can submit the ielts score till the first week of March (as mentioned in CW prospectus). I'm sure, you can't get your ielts score til the deadline so don't wait for it and go on.
