TheSpreader, thanks. I was a bit rusty..but the test was not very difficult.

Another question, out the whole list provided in the Ad, are these scholarships practically offered by China only?
Hhhm well dear i do not know much about this, but ya last year most of the people received this scholarship from China and a few received from Turkey, Italy.

Can someone tell, do we need to have passed the English language proficiency test or one would have time to give it after he/she has been selected

Its better to have English Proficiency Certificate beforehand. But even if you have not, IPC will give some time to candidates depending on the cut-off date of donor country. I recommend to get registered asap after you get confirmation of selection from IPC on phone. And keep practicing in the meanwhile.

search for British council website and get registered for ielts and then send a print out of the online form along with your CNIC copy and a bank draft of Rs.15000 for final registration., these tests are conducted twice a month in all major cities of Pakistan. you have to register for it at least 15 days before test date whereas your score card will be dispatched after 13 days of test,

My suggestion, first get it confirmed by ipc if you are shortlisted for this scholarship or not, ipc will give you enough time for ielts.

Hey Everyone

Lets just build a roll number database to help us when the result comes

@ members

are you sure we need IELTS for this scholarship? i know it was needed for the commonwealth scholarship but im not certain about this one...

applicants from last couple of years can clarify...

IELTS is not required for Chinese scholarships, last year no any selected candidate was asked to appear for IELTS etc. just wait for IPC call and shortlisting confirmation. if they require anything we would have enough time for fulfilling such requirements.
