I think you should also focus on other things and stay conneced with IPC about your status.
Ahsan are you getting any stipend from IPC? or you are solely depending on CSC stipend which is 1700 yuan per month?

my friend got admission in Peking directly through email for PhD but he missed the last date of submitting documents so you better keep an eye on the last date of submission of documents.

Hmmm..... Documents can be submitted through Courier i.e. TCS. Am I right? I will email peking Insha Allah today for admission. Thanks for sharing such a good info

no i am only getting money from CSC but for me, it`s more than enough as i saved money within 4 months to have a holiday back in my home

dear ahsan.what about education standard of china.If I get chance of studying in turkey and china.then which country should I chose and why?

If there is a tie of marks the older person would be placed higher on the merit list as per government rules. Academic grades would not come into play in this process.

The comment from the guys who visited IPC office in islamabad is quite depressing. I mean how is it possible that last seat is for 80 when they haven't prepared the list yet. And if you remember a senior member told that this year 300 scholarships are offered. Don't you think both news are contradicting

What does the merit number mean? For eg the IPC person said I'm number 261 then is it from Punjab only or from all Pakistan? If there are for eg 300 scholarships then will it mean that I'll have a chance or does it mean 58 per cent of 300 ie 174? Pl z clarify if anyone knows thanks.

I talked to IPC yesterday. The list has been finalized but according to them no announcement would be made till January. People from Balochistan a friend of mine with 62 marks is on 20th position.
I asked about the countries he says unless informed otherwise the only scholarships are available in China.
Poeple more than 70 have a shot at the Scholarship.

Bro can you share some good univs for M.S. Chemical Engineering (English medium) in China. Do you think with 65 (Engr, Punjab) and 261 in merit I stand any chance? How long is the duration of engineering masters and is it possible to cut the time in short? Your detailed answers are highly requested.

Does the position take into account provincial quota or do they quote on overall basis? The same guy told me that I'm at 261. Whats your friend's subject?
