Dear mustahsanalikhan,

Please guide me also as I am preparing for the GAT General Test. How do you prepare for this test, I mean through test preparation institute or by self-study. If you prepare by self-study then which books have you used. What's about the books, which is the best book for preparation by which a student really prepare well for this test.

GAT test is based on your mental aptitude but you need practice for the test as it is difficult for everyone having unrelated portions. arco GRE is good as well as barrons, but analytical portion is not there completely so you can join any tuition for it. you can get analytical questions which can be attempted by 5 major types.

I got 80 in gat. My Area of study was arts and humanities as i am student of mass communication. My domicile punjab. Is it good score for scholarship or i should improve it? Plz ans keeping in view the tough competition from punjab

I did it via self study. I used the book mentioned at NTS website. usually i get low total in English and analytical. I was able to improve my analytical score via process of elimination. But i have a hard luck when i got good marks, there are no scholarship that i can apply, Not even local scholarship!

try to improve your logic in daily life. Like when i was sitting in exams hall i was deducing my opinion about the class. it will increase your speed of thinking and solving problems. More over i installed logical, IQ and maths games in my mobile i use to play them whenever i was getting bored or there is no electricity. Don't take too much pressure as i just started preparation just about a week before test date. try to increase your speed in quantitative section, extra time gives an edge in analytical.

it is good score in scholarship. try to apply in one, if you want to improve and have capability then the more the better chance for scholarship

hmm yes it is good but practice is also important books and academies available. mental aptitude ability should be strong. you are going good
