Well, I got 32 as well. I have 5 consecutive wrong answers as well. I suppose these are the 5 questions that had the (wrongly phrased) given information; the ones you were talking about earlier in the thread.
By the way, my score is 82. I hope we can both advance.

Dude, congratulations for scoring the 'ceiling marks' for this test. Scoring above 85 isn't humanly possible. Our invigilator misinformed us about the last time, and so I tick-marked the untouched MCQs in a hastily fashion,thinking that only last 5 minutes are left, unfortunately, the time remaining was 10 mins. Anyways, my score is 62, and due to strategy failure i did maths section in the end,you have pointed out correctly regarding your strategy. But,could you please tell me how could you score extremely well in English, given the fact that there were 05 tough pair-relations, 3/5 difficult antonyms, even in comprehension thr were chances of 2 or 3 wrong out of 8 comprehension Qs. And besides, how brilliantly you got to manage all the sections well in time ?? And, do you have any idea of the merit or the threshold scores??

I have a relative in IB he always forbade me to give NTS tests he says "NTS is just a looting organization & has zero credibility & its proof is that Pakistan's premier, sensitive & most credible departments never recruit via this NTS they take their recruiting tests by themselves yet, so don't waste your money esp for government jobs tests the seats are already sold"

Yes bro, I hope so too. And no, these were not those questions. I knew the number of those questions and I somehow got those right. But if you also got five consecutive questions wrong, then there may be something wrong in any other statement. Let's wait for more people. If anybody else with a decent score faced this too, then we must contact NTS.

To be honest, I scored better than I was expecting in English. I got all the comprehension questions right. In most of the cases, one can eliminate three of the five options n those questions easily. For the remaining two, compare carefully and then just choose whichever looks more likely. Same goes for analogies too. Sometimes the structure of the word can be helpful if you don't know the meaning. Make calculated guesses of things you don't know and that will greatly increase the probability of getting those questions right. About time, as I said earlier, just avoid wasting time on things you don't know. If a question is taking too much time, leave that and move on. For the Maths, try to think out of the box. Yes, formulas and making equations are important, but sometimes back tracking (putting options into the question) can give you the answer in shorter time. And if you are quick in arithmetic calculations, that saves a lot of time too. About the cutoff scores, no idea as of now.

I really don't believe in these conspiracy theories. NTS's job is to conduct tests, which it does at the request of public or private organizations. Whether or not that organization actually uses that test as a merit for selection has nothing to do with NTS.

Dear, I didn't use any book. I actually didn't prepare much either. But I'd suggest to do some practice papers. Practice analytical as much as possible. For maths, understand how to grasp different types of problems. Keep in mind the relevant formulas and techniques. Focus on how to properly make equation from a statement. For English, if you have good grammar, then just slowly work on developing your vocabulary.

You blindly tick mark and got 85... that is one damn luck I would say.

I scored 79 and admit the output I got only by putting in the hardship required for the test.

Be humble and DO NOT undermine the test and the effort it needs!

I am not kidding or lying. I have no reason to do so. Some of these things are God-gifted to me, I have a good IQ and I can do big calculations very quickly in my mind. I scored 87 in GAT general test and 95 in NAT with absolutely zero preparation.I am not being arrogant or speaking big of myself. I am just really really thankful to God for this blessing.

Totally agreed with rk umar and appreciate his honesty.Most of the people who got good scores or marks boast themselves as if they are the ones with super Einstein sort of intelligence.That may be the case but Its one in millions.There is no substitute for hard work guys.Hard and smart effort can make a hell of difference.
