Community College Initiative (CCI) USA

The Community College Initiative Program is designed to support Pakistani young professionals at accredited U.S. community colleges for one year of non-degree study. Programs are being offered in the following fields: Applied Engineering, Business Management and Administration, Media, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Public Safety (Rescue/Disaster Management Services) and Early Childhood Education. The applicants must be resident in Pakistan, currently employed in one of the fields listed above, have 14-15 years of education (2-year Bachelors), English language proficiency, potential to have a positive impact on Pakistan's future development and demonstrated leadership. Participants spend one academic year in the United States and earn certificates in their fields of study. After completing the program, participants return home with new skills and expertise to help them contribute to the economic growth and development of Pakistan.

Tentative Announcement: in the month of September
Duration: one academic year 9 - 12 months
Grantees start studies: Fall next year

How to apply
Complete application package, including academic transcripts and three letters of references must be submitted to USEFP at P.O. Box No. 1128.

What is letters of references ? Tofel or EILES required ?

Dear Sincere Khan/Seniors

I want your kind suggestions, I am working with an Multinational company and earning salary of PKR 40,500.

So does it worth to apply in CCI Program which will give only One Year scholarship and after that one has to come back. Off course my employer will not give one year leave to me and I have to quit the job if a got this scholarship. And what are the financial benefits of this scholarship ?

it mean "references" . your senior officers will write this letter about your performance

yes but it depend on your education level. they demand only 2 years bachelor Degree. but if you did master then you don't mention your master, only mention 2 year bachelor degree.

it depend on writing of personal statement which is mentioned in the application. the USEFP will shortlist only those candidates who write outstanding personal statement. this program is one year study in the US community colleges. full of funded, free books. free accommodation, the department will give you 400$ per month.
