Junaid analytical ability is divided in two portions,

1) analytical reasoning (80%)
2) logical reasoning (20%)

Logical reasoning questions have more than one correct answers and you are asked to choose best one among them. This is really difficult thing to do so as depending on logic you may choose option a but the examiner may choose b and as there is no exact answer so you can never be sure of your choice of answer. There are 7 questions from logical reasoning.
Analytical reasoning portion is easiest thing in GAT. The only thing you need to learn is how to develop conditions from word statement. It's really easy task to do so. You do not need to practice number of problems from different books rather learn the techniques to develop conditions and one can easily get full marks in this section. There are 28 questions from analytical reasoning.

Anyone can get 28 out of 28 in analytical reasoning. And if one is doing 2 out 7 correct in logical reasoning then he/she can easily secure 30 marks.

To learn these things I would suggest you to consult the notes of Muhammad Usman Yousaf.

I got 99.32 percetile in analytical ability using this approach. Hope it helps.

Sister, I found those notes in a facebook group 'GAT General (NTS)'. Notes are in five parts. Name of file is 'Analytical Reasoning - Short Notes' part 1 to 5.
