Yes, of course I did explain them everything and also asked for an extension.

But HEC also suffers by the dumb headed bureaucratic mindset just like rest of systems in Pakistan. They damn care about facilitating us. HEC says, "Kindly do as advised to you."

I also contacted for extension but Sohail replied in negative ..

This is what HEC have been doing with all the scholars. Our case is no different than the rest. I am perfectly sure that these dumbs have given the dates to push us unnecessarily. As Mr Sohail Helpful Abdullah Aziz replied that interviews dates are not confirmed just keep on applying. If we don't get the admission letter (which is impossible until 21st April as most of the admission processing in French universities would start after end of May) than we could show the correspondence that we have with French universities/university at the time of interview.

So, are you able to get some +ve response from any of the universities?

The reply would start to come once they start the admission process that is after 31, May for majority of the universities. Before that they won't bother to treat our case as special one or that we are HEC scholars.

HEC asked to submit all required documents by march 27, 2015. Anyone have received the email from HEC about documents?

I heard that HEC will hold interviews at the regional centers, as for as Sindh is concerned interviews will be held at HEC Karachi regional center and some people told me that there is somewhat discrimination with the candidates during the interview on the basis of their ethnicity, I am not sure is true or not.

Hec is a prestigious organisation don't spread such rumours it will discourage potential candidates.secondly, in regional centres regional office staff is not supposed to conduct the interviews. Hec partner agency will conduct the interviews and place the candidates accordingly. regional centre are chosen for convenience not for manoeuvring the outcomes.

@Hoodwink I never intended to spread rumors, I was told by former HEC scholar who came back from France and he just raised that point that there is "maybe" possibility but he said "trust on Allah" so I wanted to know from other people here on this forum.

As you mentioned that an agency will conduct interview but I don't think so because I asked from Mr. Sohail Abdullah regarding admission process that in the past HEC designated agencies to help in admission but this time according to him there isn't any organization is involved but French government is directly handling everything.

@Jahanzaibkalyani HEC never mentioned that who will conduct the interview in the call latter but they replied my email that "French government is directly involved' that is it.

HEC not even replying who will conduct the interview, at least they should have mentioned that i guess.

Do you have any idea they will be conducting a general interview or they will be related to my fields? How many of them will be in an interview team?

Do anyone have the research proposal? Because I need urgently need one to have ideas.
