Dear, Arif Awan failed in written exam of PMS-2011 , although he scored 808 marks but he failed in one paper, don't remember which paper..

outline with essay is not inevitable,and is part of the essay writing in competitive exam , but it just enhances the beauty of essay, and help the examiner take a better guesswork of the imminent essay, But its not the reason of somebody,s failure.
As for as the case of Arif Awan is concerned......Missing Outline could not be the reason of his failure as per my guesstimate. Because passing the essay by the examiner does not wholly depend merely on outline . Arif Awan might have been otherwise with the main body of his essay, which turned out in the form of 38 marks out of 100.

Obviously, if someone has written a standard essay , outline doesn't matter.

And beyond doubt the outline was not written by arif awan , Because outline is written before a deliberate essay writing. So it seems that he himself was cryptic to sketch out the essay on first page.

It all i intended to say that you are safe if you were good with your main body of essay, That,s all.

my attempt of "Globalization and Electronic media"
N.B: I followed expository discourse for this topic.

INTRODUCTION:
media has made the world a global village. all the countries of the world are like houses of a small typical village, where no one can remain in isolation. this phenomenon has both positive and negative impacts on the world.

POSITIVE IMPACTS:
> knowledge sharing
> round the clock contact with family and friends
> (don't remember)
>

NEGATIVE IMPACTS:
> cultural invasion
> no country can maintain its separate identity
> media is manipulated by big world power to have control over whole world
>

CONCLUSION:
globalization through electronic media has both positive and negative impact on each individual country of the world. it depends how a country maximize its positive impact and minimize its negative for itself. our country should make a cyber army to check its negative impact on our country.

Outline is the compulsory part of the essay that gives clear idea regarding the flow of essay to the checker.. i do agree that whole essay is not dependent on outline, but at the same time one can not pass the essay with out that.. the clear instance is Arif Ullah Awan who secured 808 in PMS 2011 but just lagged in Essay, truly because of not writing outline.. the notion that he couldn't write appropriate Body of the essay, i would say a person getting marks as high as 808, how come he couldn't write a body just for an essay

i thought i should have added plus points but it was when i was out of the exam hall, still its enough good shot though not the best, thanks for scratching my regret over that point.

Don't worry about that brother, there are no hard and fast rules for essay. Just require lil flow of relevant ideas along with simple language that is free of grammatical mistakes. Further in case of PMS, checking is comparatively loose as compared to that of CSS. So relax and pray for success.

Why?? At least, you should have written 2500 words. I am afraid, you have spoiled a good essay dear.
