Easy there old man, there is no need to showoff here. I was just providing the best info I've got about this to the person who asked, I am not an encyclopedia in this regard as you proclaim to be. I was not talking about KPK but about Punjab where Inspector E & T is still in 14. And for you info there are no different cadres of OAs, yes there are different cadres for Assistants but Office Assistants is itself a cadre which fall in general and ministries cadre in almost all departments. And please enlighten us all about the impressive service structure of OAs you are mentioning.

OAs of the Establishment Deptt are privileged with the opportunity to compete for the their selection to the Provinicial Management Service slots (for the in-service candidates) after they get 5 years of experience.
