Not all optional papers my dear.
Go through papers of IR, History subjects, Psychology, Sociology... all of these papers were typical university level papers.

Then it is discrimination. Ours Forestry, chemistry, pushto, journalism were tougher one. It means that this time score will be higher than 800 like previous year.

papers tou chalin jesy b hain phir b theek hai but what about discipline in your examination centers,im appearing from Abbottabad yahan Government Girls Comprehensive model school k hall main tou bilkul discipline nhe hai...jo log duty deny aye hain wo deaf and dumb ban k phirty rehty hain aur candidates mazy se aik dosry se puch puch k likhty hain...main ne baar ha dafa ic cheez ki nishan dehi ki lakin koi action nhi liya jata...aaj tou sony pe sohaga ho gya..it was heavy rain here,today, light ka koi intizam nhi tha, itna andhera tha k yi b nhi pata chal raha tha hath main pakra hua pen black hai k blue...ic trah ki mismanagement PMS level k exams main aik almiye se kam nhi...Please baqi aspirants inform kerin k dosry centers main discipline ki kea position hai!

Trust me brother, these questions never needed a slight guidance from books. The advertising question was the most technical one. Everybody highlighted the details of PRINCIPLES OF ADVERTISING without paying heed to the original requirement.
Journalism really played havoc this time with aspirants

I second you on the issue that this pattern was much-needed in compulsory papers.
But, let me tell you one more thing. Journalism plays with the psyche and emotions of aspirants in PMS and CSS. I bet that people will still choose this subject more than history and law subjects, even the authorites set the toughest paper of the decade.
The comparatively easier-to-digest syllabus and The mantra of high-scoring and low-scoring always brings journalism in the list of 1st priority subjects.

i agree with you.. Discipline in our centre was pathetic.. Many candidates used their mobile phones consulting google for MCQ's.. And I guess everywhere it was the same..

Your guess is wrong dear.
THere was a strict discipline, pin-drop silence and partial power outages all the time in peshawar centres.
The apirant even was not allowed to borrow pen/pencil from other person,let alone cheating material.
and journalism paper made the situation toughest .

In such cases, people appearing at villages or towns get advantage over the ones appearing from capital cities.
