Default Can i do two degrees at a time ?
Hi everyone,

I just wonder can I get two degrees at the same time ?

I have a master degree in Political Science and want to do M.Phil at the same time I want to do MSc Mass Communication from Virtual university.

Is this possible ?


Please advise.

You have a masters degree in Pol. Science and You want to further study, I mean you want to do MPhil in Pol. Science, and you also want to do MSc. in Mass Com.
So according to my knowledge you can do Mass Comm and Pol Science at the same time, because Virtual University doesn't required you to come to university daily.

Lightbulb two degrees
i think as per higher education commission rules & regulations, one cannot obtain two degrees at a time. some students did it but when they applied for some posts, their degrees were rejected

AOA dear, government was cntinuing this policy of not allowing students to pursue multiple degrees at a time but it was around two years back. now the rule has been changed and students can go for two degrees at a time and this I am telling you with full confidence and authority since I had people around me going for two degrees at a time and dont you worry it is legal so go for your M Phil and Msc

As per my knowledge, two degrees availed at a time are not given weight-ages. one can do two or more degrees at a time if he can manage it, but it can just help him maximize his career prospective, can make him eligible for more than one field. but he can not present it as an additional qualification.
