Asalamualikum respected Sir Danish Khan,
as u r doing masters in English and also teach same subject in Hazara Uni. I want help please (1) Can u guide me about important material as i want to do selective study? (2) Can you send me some notes of this subject? (3) Can you suggest some good books? as i am appearing as a private candidate so i need guidance even about a minor point.will welcome l00 times. I have posted many requests for notes and guidance regarding material but even i havn't got some positive response.i m doing my master from peshawar uni.i hope that u will help me. need help
dear seniors
I want to say that i want to do M.A eng as private candidate as an additional degree because I have completed my BS (HONS) and now in MS. salam Im doing ma english part 1 from punjab uni plz guide me that in exams should we give headngs in a question i am confused bcz some people are sayng that headings are must but some are saying that at this level and in english you shouldn't give headings kindly guide me thanks

In English Literature, usually headings should not be given while answering. But, keep it in mind that this rule should be applied according to the paper requirement. For example, Novel, Prose, American Literature and drama are the papers where the headings should be avoided. On the other hand, Linguistics, Psycho & Socio-linguistics and literary theory are the papers where one may use headings preferably. These were the tactics that I learnt by the HoD during my Masters' days.

I took exam for MA (eng.1) as a regular candidate now i am waiting for result. For some reasons I want to do Part 2 as a private candidate. Is there any possibility to do part 2 as a private candidate after appearing as a regular candidate in Part 1 ?
