I think ACCA and MBA(while comparing with ACCA ,we suppose its MBA in Finance) both the qualifications are very differnt in nature.THose who have done MBA Finance can make their career in Finance however ACCAs(like other renowned professional accountanncy bodies ) are skilles enough to work in wide range of areas includinhg Finace,Accounts,Sectarial Practice,Audit(Both Internal as well as External),Tax Practitioners and consultancy.

IN MBA(Finance) ,courses on Mangement,Marketing,HRM ,Interpersnal Skills alongwith advnce cources on Fiance devise the entire course structure and the focus of the programme is to produce the mangers capble t while in o work in any of enviornment especialy in Finance.ACCA major areas include Accounting(under the current International Regulatory Regime),Finance,Audit,Taxation,Business Law and to some extent Mangement.The focus of the course is to produce the accouting professionals having in depth knwledge and skills relevant to the aforesaid areas.So we see the professional accountant working in diveras Compoany secretries,Chief accountant,Chief Internal Auditor,Finacial Controller .

For Islamic uni although I can't recommend the books but have a grip on basic Maths and English usage.

If you are in Isb then consider Bahria and NUST as well since their degrees give good value..
